Why do people talk about sluts in Heaven's Feel? I didn't notice any sluts.

Kotomine is a huge slut.

>> No.3716992

Kotomine's badassery at the end makes up for any sluts, plotholes, and POWER LEVELS you might have seen in the Heaven's Feel route. In fact, it might make up for any problems in the series by itself.

... Although by that point I was just relieved it wasn't going to end with Kotomine pulling out an apron and saying "Whoever makes the best meal wins."

>> No.3717015

>>3716992
While I agree that without Kotomine, HF would have been infinitely worse, one character alone isn't enough to make up for all the flaws in it. e.g. all the other characters, the plot itself, all the cooking etc.

This cooking hyperbole gets ridiculous, and the overall plotline is not worse than the other two routes.
The problem of HF is mostly with the pacing.

>> No.3717069

>>3717058

Not hyperbole. The novel spent an insane amount of time describing the characters preparing food or eating food.

>> No.3717078

>>3716992
'Sluts' do not ruin the route.
If you take the sex out and replace it with something similar (abuse, addiction or whatever) the story remains just as good or bad.
There are no plotholes.
There are only two moments that are not fully explained/expanded, but are not inconsistent.
POWER LEVELS are not an issue either, as good or as bad a it's in the other routes.

I have read through the fucking thing too.
No, it's not insane.
It's more prevalent because it's more than the other two routes, but HF has many 'unrelated' to the main plot scenes in general, most of them are not about cooking.
Especially considering how fucking long HF is.
If ALL the slice of life or not main plot relevant scenes was considered 'cooking', then yeah, it's twice as much as the other routes.

>>No, it's not insane.

Yes. It. Is. If they had halved it, people would still go "what the fuck is up with all the cooking in FSN". Normally, you would have maybe one such scene in the entire novel and spend the rest of your attention on the not-so-slightly more interesting and important magic war that's going on.

>> No.3717167

Well the entire point of HF is avoiding your problems. So of course it's going to be focusing on it there.

>> No.3717211

Shouldn't it be "fixing your problems?" Instead they got "eating dinner".

Hah. In fact, you could count most of the sex scenes as "meals", and most of the battles in the beginning as "preparing dinner". Shadow has to eat a lot to be ready to give birth.

>> No.3717231

>>3717211
I mean avoiding the problems as the Protagonist and the slut did their best to try and pretend nothing bad was happening.

>> No.3717251

I guess my brain sort of lumped all of this 'cooking' stuff together, as I hardly remember any of it. If it didn't occur during the night, I have no idea what you're talking about.

What's the fuck, why this again. There isn't much time spend with cooking. Period. Maybe two sentences each day and most of the scenes were crucial for the story. If you want to bash food discussions than maybe you should start Kira Kira aka the only game I raged about plot-unrelated stuff because I don't care about jap food, I don't even know the basic stuff and it went on for quite some time.

>> No.3720173

>>3717167
UBW and Fate had bigger pacing problems. That's one of the reoccuring problems in FSN and I believe it's because on the overblown plot and the structure of the game. Would be easier with real routes but then the mc aka Shirou would become a little insignificant in the other routes.

>> No.3720177

>>3720156
Actually, there is, you must be completely deluded to think it wasn't that way.

And in Kira Kira the food related scenes did make much more sense than in FSN considering that they were fucking tourists travelling around Japan, eating the local delicacy, etc...
Not to mention that they are completely different VNs with completely different focuses.

>> No.3720180

>>3720177
No there isn't. Any raging about food discussions in FSN is nothing else than blatant trolling.

>> No.3720192

>>3720177
There is a good amount of cooking - 2 sessions per day at least. But they're not long. Anon extremely exaggerates the cooking in HF.
