matching OP with Thousand Leaves (i dont have much), my only crows claw album (currently working on it), as well as all of Pizuya's Cell x Myon Myon's works. that collaboration was fucking legendary and i wish they continued making more stuff after Resurrection Ballad. IIRC, Pizuya's Cell still makes stuff (as recently as 2018, i haven't kept up), MyonMyon kinda faded into obscurity after 2011 but still occasionally posts on twitter/soundcloud

Pizuya's Cell is active as of 2021 (or 2020 idr what fuckin year it is anymore) but it's mostly just piano and jazz anyway

all of demetori's releases, including the releases with UI-70 (but excluding compilation CD's like Toranoana releases). I listen to these regularly, but my most favorite out of all of them is definitely Sinen.

(some of) my ALiCE'S EMOTiON stuff. still working on actually looking at what i have, but not included is RED (It came in huge boxed packaging with 3 cds, it's actually kind of stupid). Still working on getting Kairo's complete discography. I love that group so much, it's a shame they went inactive after 2014. The Vocalist is still around, though im not sure if she works on doujin releases anymore.

My Alstroemeria Records collection. Not really looking into picking up releases post Of Memories. Not pictured are Third/Trois collaboration albums with ALiCE'S EMOTiON/Sound Online, stem of radiant and a.aurantiaca (which also has oversized packaging for no reason), and special instrumental disc that was only available on booth if you bought a set they had with DiGiTAL WiNG. The only reason i bought that was because the instrumental disc had the instrumental for Alice Maestra from Harmony.

some stuff i have from Azure&Sands. I fucking love tainokobone's works so goddamn much. the Yukari album is easily one of my top 5 albums ever, even outside of touhou doujin music. Knights of Round (for those who don't know) was a compilation series from around 2007-2010 with appearances from (to name a few) JOYH-TV, Lix, Eru, Godspeed, etc... There weren't any other albums made past 4, but Lix's arranges on here were superb.

my Sekken'ya collection. I have a few others by them including some of their non-touhou stuff, but i left them out for just their touhou stuff. they're awesome.

last photo for now, just single cd's that stood out to me from my many boxes. Stardust Reverie (3,2) iirc is known to be the first ever Touhou Doujin album, so it's nice to have. Suprisingly, Beatmario and Myu314 are on it as guests which was nice to find out. Nekomonogatari (1,4) is on youtube and i ABSOLUTELY recommend it. Easily one of the best touhou jazz albums to come out. I think EASTYLE HARDCORE is also on youtube (it might just be singles though), but thats another one i highly recommend.

a lot over the last decade, but i'd estimate around 1500-2000 USD. The most expensive one's ive gotten were Shout at the Devil and Lovelight, both ranging at around 150-170 after shipping.

most of it wasn't actually import costs believe it or not- SATD was 120 before ship, and Lovelight was around 140 before as well. It's just that with how expensive and difficult they were to even see online, i paid for extra packaging/insurance and faster shipping to make sure they made it to me quickly ans safely. In the long run, it was worth it for me.

You definitely should. The only thing that sucks about it, especially if you're living outside of japan, you'll have to buy the albums second hand, and at that point none of the money you spend goes to any of the groups. Support is symbolic, but at the same time, i'm glad that more circles are beginning to publish their works on sites like youtube/bandcamp/itunes/spotify so at least then you're able to directly support them. It kinda sucks though, because they're only really adding the ultra popular circles that everyone knows, so if you want to find some good shit, you gotta do some digging. groups like IOSYS will be as popular as ever but circles like Live in Lab who's only album was released at C78 (東方研究所住まい - they disappeared off the face of the earth after this) will be basically nonexistent to peeps who's only source of 2hu music is streaming apps.

Can somebody spoonfeed me on how to buy music off booth.pm? I tried to buy an album off booth, but booth kept rejecting my card. Should I just buy the physical cd and eat high shipping costs instead?

Are there any songs/music that are about Touhou/Touhou games/Touhou characters that are NOT remixes of ZUN's themes? Original or at least semi-original tracks about Touhou. I don't mean Touhou fan music that seeks to imitate ZUN, but like an original song in whatever style that's about Marisa or something.

collector anon here - almost finished cataloging my stuff, and i overestimated how many total 2hu albums i have. They ended up totaling at around 160, the rest of the boxes ended up being
1 j-core box
1 OST box
2 boxes of general music.
I'm importing another 15 or so CD's pretty soon and hopefully ill be able to get even more in the near future. I probably won't post much more about my collection for a while (to promote more discussion of the main topic at hand)
