It has all the good and bad of classic Minatosoft and I don't believe it's going to change much.

Elin's route was probably the best of the three both in terms of plot and in terms of romantic development, in my opinion at least. Noa's route suffers from taking too long to actually introduce and develop Noa, and Crone's route suffers really hard from trying to be both a Crone route and the true route as well, it would've been much better if the route solely focused on her and they had a 4th route that was the true route that focused on the plot and lore and showdown with the big true villains as well as dumping like 8 backstories on you. I think Wagahime is a decent game, it has great characters and a fun world but the actual plot of each route is quite weak. Basically I think there'll be a route in Wagahime A-3 or whatever that's actually solid gold but it'll take a while to get there. The game honestly felt like it was setting the groundwork for a billion sequels more than trying to be a good standalone game on its own merits. That sounds pretty harsh, I did quite like it overall, but boy does it have problems.

God, i love this one.
Sci-fi part is kinda weak, comparing this to harukuru (only vn i read in this series), but philosophy part really paid it off. Cast is so fucking good, art/h is good, pacing is decent, it's pretty much kinetic with no routes. Watanabe is really a fucking genius. If only every other yurige would be this good and not boring moege-tier trash.

Just finished Kami-sama. Kirika's route had the best writing in my opinion. The pacing, reveal and tension were pulled off nicely. The icha icha was also well done.
Rana's route had the most interesting concept and gave me the most feels, but I feel like the writer didn't have a proper flow to the story, the pacing was kinda messed up and emotions fell flat at some points. Some scenes in the story should have been expanded/prolonged for a bit more instead of rushing through them at blazing speed, while other scenes were dragged on too much and the "climax" was almost non-existent. It really had potential to be my favorite but it failed to live up to that potential. Still an enjoyable read, but maybe that's my disabled girls fetish talking.
Tsukuyomi's route was the sweetest, but I probably feel that way because I kept her route for last. The pacing and writing was better than Rana's route but it could have still been a better. The ending left me a bit blue-balled, I wish they detailed a bit more about what happened and how they handled the "other problems". Rana and Kirika both got scenes after the credits rolled but Tsukuyomi didn't? What's up with that, I thought she was the "main" main heroine. Route wise I rate Kirika > Tsukuyomi == Rana.

Overall nice read, I enjoy this sweet spot it had between moege and drama. If there's one complaint to be had is that I wish there were more SoL/icha icha scenes in favor of sex scenes once the routes begin.

Almost at the end of it, which IMO kinda breaks the flow. The Kirika/Airi and Tsukuyomi/Rein split was handled much better.

Only issues i experienced is game looking like pic related if you change window size, then close it and open again. But can be fixed by entering full-screen mode and going back to windowed mode.
The other retarded issue is sprites lacking aliasing, but fixed by either reading in full-screen or making window bigger than 720p.

I think Tsukuyomi didnt get extra scene after the credits because she was prominent in all the routes, while the other heroines kinda disappeared in certain ones that were not their own. Besides, the biggest obstacle in Tsukuyomi route the approval of their relationship by C-AI and Leverkusen AG higher ups was fully cleared by the end so everything is ok. Still would like a fandisc for more content, may not be worth importing Kamikimi Switch only for one extra route and less CG in general. It is expensive.

Finished fuyukuru, didn't like the first half much because it was basically nukige with constant h scenes and talks about masturbation, then there was a decently entertaining detective (even though pointless in the end) and the later part was what I actually enjoyed the most, with all of the philosophical talkings and emotional scenes. They were so good that I think I cried at least 10 times near the end (a big part of that was absolutely top tier music that I can't stop listening to now)
The sci-Fi part here is garbage so you better not think about it seriously or nothing will make any sense, but if you came here for the emotions you definitely won't leave disappointed

You should be able to install some media codecs and stuff for wine via winetricks or similar and get them to work. Before I did that though I noticed after crashing once a movie is marked as "seen" and the next time you can skip it by clicking before it crashes and continue on. If you want to watch the movies you can find them as files in a subfolder as usual.

Unless you are coming from decades of using and trying to get away from windows and failing, I get it's hard to understand how frustrating it is to start up a windows VM after more than a whole year of not having touched it, all for a single game.

I’d say so but opinions are divided about it.
Shokuzaihen: no voice acting and a different writer but it's a good short story after the events of the true route. It's also "feels" like Muramasa while Janenhen goes into a completely other direction.

Janenhen: Consists of three sub stories all written by different authors. One of them is a cringey fanfic story with a lot of fan service moments like referencing Hanachirasu and iconic lines from the main game. Second one is a clever meta comedy about the characters making a holywood movie out of the true route. Worth a read if you are into comedy. Third one is a one off story with Kanae as the MC. Worth reading it if you like the banter between her and the baaya. The premise is solid, but the story doesn't really go anywhere at the end to be honest.

Speaking of VMs, any other linux fags experience vmware morph into a complete pile of shit these past few months? To sum it up, I suddenly started getting completely random spikes of lag for literally no reason. They don't affect the host at all. What just happens is that the threads run the vmx process will just spike randomly in CPU usage which lags the guest OS. I've tried a bunch of workarounds, settings, and shit but it just has gotten worse and worse with every new kernel version. I don't know what the fuck happened, but I switched back to virtualbox since that shit is no longer usable really. Too bad oracle can't get better 3D acceleration on virtualbox, that's the only real downside imo.
