Just got through testing most of the characters and I can already tell the game isn't very balanced since some characters are just stronger and easier to use than others. Basically anything other than Arc, Red Arc, Saber, and Miyako either require a much much higher skill ceiling to be usable or are just shit in general. I also enjoyed playing Unlimited Codes way more than this shit.

It's not just that Arc has a low skill ceiling but also that she can outspeed alot of other characters while being able to easily counter and punish them as well. Red Arc is notably more punishing even if she is slower. She's aggressive and I understand that she was designed to be aggressive but it's suffocatingly aggressive. Unless the player can specifically hard counter her they are likely to get stomped on.

He is trying to make Guda a character but feels a little too late. While the rest didn't actually interact with Guda in any close aspect. Hilariously unlike how they shove waifu fanservice in My Room who want Guda, their actual story selves don't give a single shit about him: Morgan was in love with Uther (a Proto Arthur clone) in the past before he was poisoned during his coronation, Barghest had a tragic love story with a boy called Adonis, Baobban Sith had unrequited feelings toward Beryl, Melusine was in an affection love triangle with Aurora and LB Percival. The only other character who flirted was that Medb version who isn't playable.

There's a system in place to show that as you spend time with characters they warm up to you. There's an implied world going on in the game because Servants interact with you more than just on the battlefield so you're spending who knows how much time with them. "You can't be friends with a lot of people!" is sure a /jp/ take but they're not in a situation where they have much choice but to get along which speeds the process up.
A lot of this also talks about Servants being uncharacteristic compared to how they "really" are but this ignores that Servants are unique existences. They accept that they can chase dreams they couldn't while they were alive and can act in ways you might not expect. That's an idea that was present even in Fate/Stay Night for fucks sake.
