japanese men generally cant treat women for shit.
this is all japanese men living in japan, not the ones born overseas mind you.
japanese men care about their careers, their companies to the point they ignore their families and often times live / rent apartments closer to work and further from home.
more often too, they will be married but they openly go out to hostess bars, date other girls or go to places like brothels and things when they have (in most cases) really cute sexy wives.

usually they have one girlfriend, but will openly go out and date other women.
they care shit all about how their girlfriend is. most times, its the girl that asks the guys out on dates, to go out or just generally to do something. its often usually the girls that profess their liking for the guy.
also, the sex is bad because the guy usually finishes first and doesnt get into the foreplay or other intimacy with the girls. they just suck tits, finger, and cum.

this is all from my experiences living in japan. i've spoken to plenty of girls and friends' friends (both those that speak english and those that dont) and they said that japanese guys are ok, but most wont put in the effort to treat the lady.
most that were dating my friends said they were really surprised that men make great efforts for them, some things like lighting candles, giving them massages, taking them somewhere nice to even intense foreplay and sex. something a japanese guy would never do was play some romantic music and get the girl in the mood, it was usually "ok, i feel like sex, lets go".

Well, taking bio-mechanics into account, that's going to make women more likely to stick around. Nothing turns a woman off faster than a male who reduces his social value, usually by treating women too well.
