Gore Screaming Show is actually pretty decent. Most of the people who shittalk it expected it to be a nonstop gore fest (Gore refers to the titular character, not literal gore). I'm glad it's more psychological horror with occasional bloody scenes thrown in.

I've been playing Sayonara o Oshiete. It's pretty nice. The only thing bothering me about it is that in some of the endings, the MC will be doing something "on the rooftop" but the background is that of the archery range, for example. I can't tell if it's a bug, an oversight, or if it's completely intended, but that's okay.

I dunno, I loved the first twist reveal in Kirika's apartment, and I figured out the villain when she told Kaito the place Kirika was at. And the threesome scene with Airi was great IMO as well. Different strokes for different folks, I guess that route was simply meant more for people like me.

The only real issue I had with Kirika's route was all the time wasted discussing the morality of feeding people's experiences to an AI. Even if the act of creating that God AI was a good thing, they lost all credibility and proved they couldn't be trusted with that data the moment they attached a price on those videos and put them online. They had no moral high-ground to stand on to begin with, the conversation should never have happened and dragged on that long and Kaito should have pressed the button 20 minutes ago instead of dramatically waiting until the last moment and do it while yelling (and giving the villain a chance to retaliate).

But yeah other than that, I liked it.

What's your go-to-method for upscaling old low-res games when playing on large monitors?
