I don't know who to train in the dojo anymore so I've started skilling up my level 90 friends who have attack buffs so if they ever get to MLB they'll at least be useful for a single LW use in tower.

The way I do dojo training, I APWAYS max out the skills of my lv. 100 units, regardless of who they are. Imo, a lv. 100 unit is a unit you can certainly get some use of somehow so it makes sense to complete them. After that, fes units and lv. 90 units are good back ups since you'll likely limit break them at some point.

Oh, not full auto. I lack sleep. Macro to activate skills, use Marisa's stage card to gain 2P and get rid of the fire fairy, then use her focus shot two times with 1P to end the first wave. After that Yukari's stage card to heal, skills, focus shot with 1P twice again. Finally full auto to activate the LW fast on the named fairies, repeat.

pretty much. Ideally you should use the minimum amount of characters, literally 1 if it's possible. If that's not possible 2, if that's not possible 3, but keep your back row empty. This is because the more characters you send out, the more stamina you use.

At this point I have several completely full powered and broken characters, and while I don't farm for cards I do grind for event points. Basically I put Dark Youmu, Yorihime, or Shiki Eiki against a 1 wave even fight and tap the screen on where the "go again" button is for like an hour, until spirit runs out or the girl gets tired, then I switch.

For card farming you will *probably* need 3 characters because usually it's a 3 wave match so 1 girl isn't going to cut it, overpowered or not

Though as I understand it Yorihime is also allegedly quite good. I have her, but don't really use her. I also have Tenshi at max, but haven't used her much in farming because her Last Word has a long animation. Short animations are generally better, of course, because they save time. Eiki, Toyohime, and Dark Youmu have really fast Last Words. I think the fastest LW is Patchouli's, but Patchouli without reincarnation and other boosts is not as powerful. Still useful for less OP enemies

Depending on the enemy, you have to choose another tank like Yukari or Kanako. Of course you shouldnt stall with a unit weak to enemies spellcards.

You usually take it slow and grind the enemy down with normal hits. recover HP as soon as you drop below 50% health.
I love to use units with normal shots that have elements the enemy is weak too, give me extra damage every fifth round and 2 extra rounds of skills getting ready.

She’s about what I expected. Takes some work to maximize, and isn’t going to outdo Suika or Toyo on neutral targets, but she obliterates enemies that are weak to her elements.

Her all-targeting Poison only has a 2-turn duration so you can only use her All SC then use her LW the turn after. Awakening her to 3 stars would help a lot since her Spell Card will now apply 2 Poison layers instead of 1.
You should also wait until her LW turn to use her Poison skills so that you don't lose the poison debuffs when breaking barriers. This is how I'd clear floor 30 with MLB Medicine:
- 1st turn: Break 2 barriers of Patche or Koakuma (or if you have Tewi, use her Poison skill on either of them) and use Medicine's All SC. Patche and Koakuma will now have 2 Poison layers each (or 4 if you use Tewi).
- Use Medicine's skills (preferably maxed out) so that Koakuma and Patche have Poison on all their barriers. Full break them both with Medicine's LW.
- Clean up with whatever All LW you have.

Beat them in three turns with a team of Medicine, Eirin, and Yuyuko in front, plus Reimu and Youmu at the back for some swap [P]-boosted finishers.
As a duo, Eirin and Medicine are totally busted as they can full break an entire team of enemy 2hus with poison spam.

I ended up using Toyo in five turns for MAX lvl 10 crit, accuracy and YIN damage since her getting one hit rekt was what stopped me from capitalizing on Yuyu, Kasen and the hime LWs two minutes before reset. Medi broke and Yukari tanked, somehow, despite the 6900 damage. The Lunarian has no weakness

I was checking my list after MLBing my second Red Marisa card. I really need some space because this is getting silly, I don't have tiles for everything with potential, and I need to clear this thing out before Emo Youmu's banner, so l want to ask you guys the utility of what is cluttering most space but is usually listed as too useful to part ways with, and what is reasonable to keep with current jp roster, because I keep ruminating about it:
-Two MLB Froggy Hats, could MLB another two [have two MLB Poltergeists and three MLB phones so maybe just another one is enough]
-Four MLB Rabbits of Fortune (!)
-One Magic Prep (MLB etc), could merge another [same function but a more balanced stat stick of Peach-Picking Princess]
-Two Behind the Firepower, could merge another [budget Ordinary Magician, but I also have my reserves about trashing copies because of the stat stick]
-Three It's Spring! for P, almost can almost merge another one, add to that one Midnight Tea, another MD I'm building for flavour as well as the mentioned Red Marisa cards
-Three Boos!, can merge another another two (!!!) [very good stat stick and YIN but I already have two Overwhelming Firepowers, but then again it seems like in late game it could be very useful]
-Two Kirisame Magic Shops on the way to a third [pretty much useless beyond the stat stick due to only a 20% element power up]
There's another stuff that looks only useful depending on circumstances like Fairies Under the Sun, I'm the Strongest, some of the best defense oriented and focus up cards, but I'll just keep two MLB of those and holy fuck this is already a ridiculously long post to bother with so any input is appreciated

I don't keep any stat sticks that are lower than 5 stars. It seems like a waste using tiles on them. As for what I do keep.
3 stars: Valued tools of the Trade (keeping more than 4 seems like a waste of space), 1 MLB Miracle Mallet.
4 stars: 1 MLB copy of each event card (collection). MLB Fairies Under the Hot Sun and MLB Boo! (these two are important). Tea/Spring (replace as you gain more Rojo cards).
5 stars: Keep them. As a general rule, do not MLB Overwhelming Power or Ordinary Magician unless you have at least 5 in stock. MLB Fairies/Boos count towards it. IE: 2 Overwhelming Power + 3 MLB Boos, when you pull another OP, you can start to MLB it. Alternatively, you may use them as stat sticks instead (though the +1 extra Yin/Yang attack is the better buff).

But I'll summarise it here:

You start with a maxxed out character (lv100, MLB, max awakens, max upgrades and enhances, all lv10 skills.

You then need to complete a character-specific stage to obtain Mirrors of Rebirth for that character. You need 1000 mirrors, and you get "up to 20" per attempt on lunatic, and can do the stage 3 times per day, so a few weeks probably. The stages only unlock when you have a valid rebirth-capable character, and the mirrors are character-specific.

You then spend those 1000 mirrors to do the rebirth. You get them reset to level 1 but keeping everything else, as well as making them cost 14sp to use and taking double the xp to level up back to 100. In exchange they get more stats and deal way more damage (50-70% more)

Any JP players know why the coolest and most popular highschool girl from the outside world isn't ranked towards the top of every tierlist?

She's got a level 3 yang buff, another 3 on her LW, her LW is 1-2-2 which works well with her P boost skill, some of her LW bullets have Gensokyo killer and others reduce target avoid or scale with agility, and it's all-targeting. Her spellcards are solo-targeting, but they have good effects, a decent amount of breaks, and said breaks are at most 2P. Plus she's got spamable wood. I don't think the Secret Sealing club's president has a single flaw!

If you want the real reason, it is because her damage is really low. Buffing your own dodge is also extremely useless, especially on a LW. Without her slayer effect it is especially low, below half the damage of someone like Yuyuko.

Does individual bullet damage and base stats really matter that much? I thought getting boosts from buffs and effective damage was more important. I know Yuyuko can easily hit max yang buff without a story card, but with how many good things Sumi has going for her, I thought she'd be rated higher. Not Yuyuko tier, but maybe Reimu tier.

Being able to buff your attack matters very little when your damage still sucks with a lvl 9 attack boost. That's not even getting into the fact that all the good characters can buff themselves like mad or that Reimu outdamages Yuyuko if her slayer effect is active. If you want to compare her with a real speed scaling character, just look at someone like Murasa and Raiko and you can see how much worse she really is.

Eh, most of the time I take a turn of setup for poison barriers, so if you cast her 1st skill on the setup turn you're fine since Medicine's graze gives her agility up which almost always makes her go first.

Yeah, Toyo-Medi-Yuyuko is my fastest Marisa Roja Full Auto but it sometimes fails due to this.
Ironically, Lily White instead of Toyo is slower but it hasn't failed yet.

Does she have wood on her LW? Global player but thinking Yuyuko's card might make that useful since it increases wood% and P, which could have meaning in some niche battles with the enemy just needing to be dalt a couple more hits after she unleashes it
