I’ve used condoms with them, both latex and non-latex. They work fine- you just need a little more lube than normal.

It’s not optimal, though, especially with holes that have significant suction. It kind of drags and stretches out the condom in the hole.

A much better option (and what I do with all my holes) is to pull out and cum on a tissue. It makes cleanup a lot easier and increases the longevity of the holes (since there’s less wear and tear during cleanup because you don’t have to worry about flushing out large amounts of material).

What are the absolute best ways of drying your onaholes? I want to try and keep the new one I have for as long as possible. Right now I'm just doing a two-phase towel stuffing to dry it. My last one got black mold on the outside but the inside was still clear, so I kept using it. But then etrance got a bit torn up eventually, and eventually got mold inside as well. That's a bit risky. The stuff you see is the fruiting body of the mold, the mold's "roots", so to speak, would be buried deep inside the ona by the time you find them. It's why you're supposed to throw away soft cheeses and bread if you find mold on them rather than trying to just cut away the moldy parts.

Regarding drying, if you have access to a 3D printer that one anon's designs he's posted seem like the most gentle way of doing it. Sponge sticks are probably the most gentle physical way of drying them, though, but they're more expensive than, say, some drying sticks or strips of microfiber cloth wrapped around a dowel.

It's a mix of all those reasons. Some of the top rated holes are chink holes that give stuff in return for good reviews. There's a few legitimately good chink holes on there but be wary of blindly buying them since there's a good chance they're only highly rated because of the review incentives. Allovers, Fondlove, Acmejoy, Morujoy, Qutoys, Nightfly are all chink. (And many of their holes can be found on Amazon US for cheaper.)

Chink holes aside, I've noticed that a lot of the newer top rated stuff on onahodouga and best selling amazonjp holes still aren't discussed on /ona/. In that case I think it is a case of west being behind because it's harder and costlier for us to get newer stuff. It's hard to recommend stuff that you haven't tried yet.
We also seem to have different tastes and dick lengths than the Japanese so some of their favorites don't work for us. For example the Honmono is known for being having a shorter tunnel and isn't recommended all that often here even though it's pretty highly rated in Japan.

Well paizuri has been tried and it was fun. 1cm isn't that shallow if you're worried about moisture getting trapped and encouraging mold growth.
