you can use nanokey 2 with nostalgia but you need to double up the key mappings, like every 2 keys will be 1 physical key on the controller, but it still works mostly fine. i havent played keyboardmania but the nanokey should be able to map as MIDI KEY 1, 2, 3... etc to whatever config it has. but its really hard to play anything on nanokey2 in my experience it only works for music since the keys are so small you need to be looking at them and not the screen to hit them correctly.

Its my first time playing an arcade data. Iidx 27 to be exact and I'm pretty confused. Are you not able to quit in middle of a song? I tried evey key combination but nothing worked. Do you have to always wait for the song to end? Also, how come there's no instant fail if you miss enough notes? You only get a fail when the song ends? i think if you play beginner charts theres no failing, or if you don't skip the tutorial, after that you can't fail out. it puts you in a beginner friendly mode or something. skipping the tutorial is vefx+effect same as quick restart. some beginners dont know so if you dont know: you need to hit the black key to close the beginner folder and access the full folders.

About the VEFX+effect. I followed the benami.guide for the key shortcuts and the guy put effect on "enter" for the keyboard and vefx on "select" for the controller. Perhaps the game doesn't recognize two buttons on different devices being pressed at the same time so ill try changing it.

Gamo2 just released the new SDVX controller called FAUCETWO. It's $197 dollars with all the recommended options. 100G + OMROMS + DJDao buttons. The Gamo2 FPS controller is highly recommended with 50G + omroms. I just got that one.

I wouldn't trust Istmall or yuancon too much. Istmall has very mixed opinions from various people. Yuancon has everything handled by one dude so good luck finding shit on sale and the quality control isn't the greatest.
