Use of pronouns for suspense in Japanese

Hey everyone! This is a bit of a complicated question, so I’d appreciate everyone’s patient reading and thoughtful responses.

So in English, I feel like we have a habit of using pronouns to emphasize an attribute of a sentence. For example—I might say something like “despite having only studied it for two years, I am fluent in Japanese” (lol fat chance). Another example, to be spicy: “I’m not sure if you’ve realized it yet, but I like you.”

In both of these examples, the use of “it” is for dramatic effect in my mind; by prolonging the actual point of the sentence, it creates a sort of anticipation that feels appealing to me.

While I know that grammatically speaking it’s possible to do this sort of thing in Japanese — using の for example — so this question is more directed at whether or not it’s something that’s typically done in the language.

My experience in speaking Japanese with people around my age (young) is that there’s less of an emphasis on use of emphatics or drama for effect (usually to be funny), so I’m trying to reorient my Japanese thinking to reflect that.

What’s your experience with this phenomenon? Do you think the prolonging of the “main idea” of the sentence for emphasis is something usually done in Japanese? If so, are the situations in which it’s done different from in English? How does this affect the way you think about “thinking” in Japanese?

Thanks so much in advance to your responses! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

it's for japanese learners of course. they are aware there's a massive amount of gaijins loathing for anime waifu pussy and the japanese way so they want to help.

Imagine being a young japanese voice actress, aspiring to do great things in the industry. You get an offer to voice a game. It's an eroge. You ignore the pit in your stomach that's telling you to keep your integrity and find a realer role. It offers good money though, and you need to pay for your tokyo apartment. And it wouldn't hurt to have a credit, would it? So you voice lead heroine in Cummy Wummies In My (Step)Sister's Tummy. You give it your all, and the director is so happy with your work. You even get to record the opening song. The game is successful. You have to record a drama CD, a full vocal album done talking about how much you love your big (step)brother and his cummies in your tummy. It's all going downhill from here. People start to recognize you. They shake your hand, and you can see in their eyes that they want to put their cummies in your tummy. Life is dark. You miss your inaka town. Was the cummies in the tummy worth it? Maybe you should just give up. There are other offers for more games though. You're by all accounts a success in the voice acting industry, only, not the one you wanted to be in. All because of some cummies in your tummy. Maybe the long dark at the end of the rope is looking enticing. The cummies in your tummy theme song plays as you step onto the chair and tie the rope around your neck. You let out a whimper, and kick it out from under you. The news reports say that you were not very well known, except for cummies in your tummy. It was a good life.

2 ghibli movies down. 20 to go. think it's like 30 hours of immersion. pretty easy stuff too. tried watching one of them on hbo but they hardbake the subs in. watched a bit of it that way though, seems like they change a lot. they translated "外国" as "skull" because they were pointing at a skull emblem.

idk just google around you might find more meaningful answers than on here where there are literally no japanese or people with any knowledge of this stuff whatsoever.
my guess is they just evolved like this. why do germans love beer? why do americans love to get fat and be retarded? why do viets eat spiders and chinese eat bats? who the fuck knows. they just evolved like this just like pidgeons evolved to shit on statures and the earth formed as a habitable planet.
