I'm thinking of changing it to the same way the rest of the Shiki section is set up, with the green color gradients. I don't know if you'd like that, but since I think it'd look cool, I'm thinking of using it for myself. If you want it as well, I'd be all too glad to oblige. Of course, this is assuming my Paint skills haven't died over the course of the last two years of not doing any spriting work. Anyways, I'll get back in a few minutes with my results, and you can say if you find them satisfactory.

Yep. I just finished. Unfortunately, I had to cut a few small corners, since creating all the custom gradients to fill in places the rest of the colors didn't cover was problematic, and it's marginally choppy, but not enough that you would notice without staring at it in Paint's 8x magnification. Tell me what you think.
