Newfag here, how often does Gift restock their stuff? An anon in the last thread said they only produce fumos twice a year. Am I fucked? Hello there, fellow fumo enthusiasts, old and new. Today I come to you with a simple questionaire, which I will leave open for the duration of this thread. I won't be asking for emails, or any other sort of information which could be used to identify someone, so in theory anyone answering should remain anonymous.

I can tell that it's a joke answer by simply looking at the timestamp and answers associated with that specific timestamp on the results spreadsheet I have made. It's a sad fact of life that there will be bad apples among the results, given the nature of anonymous forums and polls, but looks like most of you have answered properly.
That being said, if it wasn't obvious already, every submission to the census has a specific timestamp associated with it, meaning I know what specific answer each participant has given.

I think I've heard about fumo a few years ago but I never was into it until 2018 when Yumemey started making cute videos and I got my first (and only fumo for now) last year on the 3rd of June because the lockdown called for a companion. If everything goes right, I will get Eirin fumo and strap Reimu soon, bought by someone who agreed to act as a proxy at the Reitaisai.

Had hope that some orders for Cirno or Sakuya would fall through and made a bot to alert me when stock returns. Alas there was no notification when I woke up. Yeah, after reverse image searching, the only thing I can find is either listing itself or sites that link to the listing. They're also willing to send more pictures.
The only issue I can see is that it's shipping from a western Europe country instead of Japan, but they only have one in stock and the plastic wrap still has the bar code sticker on it from Japan as well as the badge, so it seems like they ordered one and are just reselling it. My first batch of fumos will be arriving in May. I've wanted fumos for years but just recently took the plunge. I ordered Remilia (1.5), Flandre (1.5), Eirin, Sanae, Satori, Reisin (UFO), and Yuuka.

The touhous I would want fumos of the most are Kanako, Seiga, Kogasa, Eiki, and Nazrin. Kanako I think is inevitable to complete Moriya's trio, and Kogasa/Eiki/Nazrin I think are both popular enough and fumoable enough to get fumos eventually, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of those four were the next fumos. Sadly I don't expect a Seiga fumo ever despite her personality being very fumoish.

I recommend buying some wire shelf liners to make it a little better looking. I also use a wire shelf for my fumos but the liners are really nice for being able to display your anime figs without risk of them falling over. Just make sure to measure the measurements of your shelf, it's better to overestimate than to under estimate if you can't get the exact shelf liner size.

I'm worried that these threads, and fumo culture as a whole, is starting to break me. I'm beginning to see fumos as real living creatures and have trouble seeing them as just objects. Mom thought Inu Sakuya should smile. As for my dad, I just told him how I was trying to balance out my collection. I mostly had Gundam models and 40k minis at the time, and it just felt like I needed something cute to even the scales. Inu and the others are still heavily out numbered by my backlog though.

When are Gift going to step in and start doing the Precure plushes? These felt decal things are atrocious. As a fumowner it's depressing to see other softs lacking in the quality that we have.
