The 07th general is inoffensive and offers a place for people to discuss whatever they want related to the company, there's no tripfags and the only attention whore is 100% hated by everyone and constantly banned. Blame the mods for not permabanning him. It's better than having 50 threads of the same series like Touhou does.

If you have too many individual threads about one thing then people complain that you’re spamming the board.

07th and vocaloid audience on /jp/ is small enough that they won't survive if you make threads about individual things.

r07 in particular benefits from condensing their threads because no one is really talking about ciconia and umineko with Higurashi Gou going on, but it lets people post about them in the general instead of making a dead end thread. There's also a huge amount of crossover between the people who read each r07 novel so you're just going to get the same audience posting in multiple small threads instead of the condensed one.

the only bad thing about the r07 general is the Italian mental patient but i think he got chased off and mostly posts on /a/ now
