Flipping through some comments made by INTPs on sites, it's sort of alarming how directionless most of them are. Many of them seem unsatisfied with their job, or drift from job to job just because they can't stick with a single one. Others manage to just live off the bare essentials, and pick up jobs such as janitorial work so they can easily make time to just have some time to think freely.

I don't necessarily trust that I perceive the absolute truth, people may lie to me, things can look like something they are not etc but I assume that I can act according to my perceptions and not go too far wrong assuming I continually update my way of thinking as new pieces of information become available.
I can't claim to know what is the best course of ation in every situation but I'm confident that I can act on the available information (or lack of such) in a way that I can be comfortable with.

Perhaps but without more detailed knowledge of the person's life it's too early to make that call. The best way to help such a person is to provide work for them, thereby getting them to earn the money they receive. If they refuse, it'd be easier to say that they only want "free" lunches but there may yet be circumstances that we do not know.
