It's what I meant by my second point: I don't really get how she can obsess over Rika to such a regard, while also not caring about Satoshi, while also being in a state of flux as to whether she cares about the rest or not. The obsession feels forced, as if it was added purely because Lambda obsesses over Bern. The discarding of her feelings towards Satoshi are fair in a vacuum, but she stills seems to completely disagree with Rika wanting to leave, as if she just watched 100 years of fragments completely ignoring Rika's valid reasons for wanting to leave.

I believe Ryuukishi wrote himself into a corner and to get out of it he allowed this whole loose connection between WTC entries to happen in any way more than a simple red herring as it used to be. I can understand the writer's intent behind Satoko's latest familial bond. To me, it feels a natural development arising from her environment. But Gou represents that (plus almost everything else) poorly, I think we agree on that.
How Satoko formed close bonds with Rika, how Rika betrayed her trust in St.Lucia, how she accepted to become a looper, how Satoko's solo loops failed, how Satoko turned into a witch... All of these and many other parts could have been done better on screen, but I can understand the writer's intent behind them. So here's something I don't get.
Vier and her lab along with the Three Kings are meant to be bringing about the End of the World, right? But Toujirou, Seshat and the Jestress are working against it. But in order to work against the Three Kings they bring up the Book of Revelation, which has been deemed non-canon and they've tried to wipe it out from history. Shouldn't the opposite be true? Why would the people who want to end the world according to the prophecy of the Book of Revelation want to hide the Book which holds up the end of the world as something noble done by God?

How is Satoko gonna confront Rika about her bad actions if she keeps insisting that she wouldn't treat Satoko like that?

While overall I'd rate the episode 34/100, but it does give some interesting fanfic possibilities. All those seemingly out of the blue post-Matsuri Satoko suicide fragments are ripe for exploration, especially the one where Rika might have accidentally drowned Satoko/think she did. And the possible future fragments after Satoko shoots Rika in the classroom of the two of them jumping out of bed at 6AM and murdering each other every five minutes in their house until they both go totally nuts. Bonus points for Satoko's yandere rape dungeon fragments, or Featherine's lazy movie nights watching this bullshit for a hundred years.
