I used 7 on my old computer for close to maybe 10 years but I had to upgrade recently because newer hardware doesn't support it.

I love Linux and wish I could use it all the time but there's just too many compatibility issues with more obscure games and software, you have to do a lot of run-around fixes for individual things (or at least I did in the few things I tried with it). You could dual-boot into Windows but doing that each time you want to to just to run one or two things is similarly a hassle as well. Sucks all around, but what can you do.

Depending on your budget and such you could give Hardware Passthrough VMs a try. Don't even need two GPUs if you want to go the integrated GPU route.

Oh that's actually a fantastic idea, hadn't thought of that. Only drawback I can think of is that it probably sucks up a ton of RAM though. Certainly less trouble than having to go into the BIOS each time you want to boot into another OS though.

Since win10 is supposed to be the last, something that they just update forever, it feels like all the other OS-tans are girlfriends that I broke up with, or close friends that just moved away and lost contact--no, I moved away. It's as though I was forced into a marriage with Touko-tan. I didn't want this, but yer and our families just pushed this relationship on me. It's a loveless marriage on my part... I'm still on 8.1 and I didn't even get on 7 until my old Compaq XP desktop died in 2012 so I join the used ThinkPad bandwagon. 8.1 sucks because you can't theme it much. I miss my shady XP from The Pirate Bay with the dark classic windows theme that I probably found on DeviantArt. I hope I can one day figure out how to salvage that old hard drive so I can get my old /jp/ images and VN saves back.
