This boss was balls, but beatable. Hold down the run button. Basically your run button is your winner here. Just take short attack spurts and run back to the left constantly.

Also does anyone know how to get that trophy inside this boss without getting fucked over?

Now that, I know. You need to time it perfectly and double jump inside his stomach before you hit the acid. Moving platforms appear that you need to scale to escape his mouth. I'm more interested in how to get that chest that's above the boss room.

Also, why is she so Youmu-like in appearance?

Before you go through those megaman doors, theres an invisible wall ceiling. you walk over the hallway to where the chest is.
