Why won't umineko install?
It's currently stuck at
Files/07th_Expansion/Umineko4/????????????.exe
Does it just take too long?

Look, this isn't fucking rocket science. You need to set the Language for Non-Unicode programs to Japanese.

It's under the "Administrative" tab in Vista. You have to click "Change System Locale." That will probably work. I haven't tested it myself, as I only have Vista on my laptop and I play the games on my PC, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.

HOW TO INSTALL UMINEKO WITHOUT FUCKING IT UP:

STEP 1: DON'T USE THE FUCKING INSTALLER
STEP 2: COPY EVERYONE OFF THE DISC INTO A FOLDER
STEP 3: OPEN THE FULLSRC FOLDER AND MOVE EVERYTHING UP A LEVEL INTO THE MAIN FOLDER
CONGRATUFUCKINGLATIONS, YOU'VE INSTALLED UMINEKO.
Now just drop the patch folder in and get going.
