The only girl I would remotely think where real appearances may, and that's in the slightest possible sense of the word may, have had an influence on the character design would be Monoe. Because Monoe's character design is so painfully average looking that you could feasibly just call her your average looking japanese girl wearing a big sweater, magnet headbands, and red pupils.

Who knows? Honestly I think it's just a matter of switching on the fly. Unlike many, she works in the entertainment industry. Playing games is just the medium, what people really go to see is her playing them. If a game doesn't bring a good entertaining atmosphere, there's just that much one can come up with until the stream devolves into hours of silence and gameplay of something you can easily go and play for yourself in peace.

There's also the fact that the games she plays are either heavily requested by popular demand, or (most likely) heavy SC donors' requests. There's a sense of commitment when somebody drops you $500 in one stream just to tell you to go and play something. It's her job and money on the line, at the end of the day.
