In the broadest sense serving someone means helping them with their life. There are many options here with different possible outcomes. Some 2hus like Eirin could help you by making you immortal. You turn from a weak NEET into an overpowered superman (or super little girl, if you prefer). Most could protect you from harm to different extent. Youmu or Mokou would be so good at being your bodyguards that it would allow to live fearing no man. Some like Aya could collect secrets and rumors, making you privy to (not necessarily accurate) information about how the world really works behind the scenes. Many could help you explore Gensokyo and see the wonders of the hidden world. Many from Alice to Nitori could make useful things for you. Some like Remi would be more your master even if they were legally obligated to serve you. Some would be useless and basically a liability, more a pet than a helper. Would you trust Cirno with grocery shopping? Would you trust Sumireko with saving the good pictures from /jp/?

At this point, I'm convinced half of FATE power levels are the servants themselves trying to bluff each other out of a match because they aren't as superhuman as they like to claim but you never know who DESTINY desires to support one day.

Not exactly. The power level would be determined to an extent by your servant yes, but it’d also be determined by how much mana you produce, as well as your circuits if memory serves right. Reminder that Saber was severely nerfed in the early parts of stay/night due to Shirou knowing jack shit about magecraft. Should YOU summon a servant, the same logic should realistically apply to you as well. Your servant might be strong but you need to be able to handle that strength and have good enough circuits for it to work out in the end.


Anyways I’d probably try and summon Sakuya. I feel like Assassin is a fitting class for her.
