At my school (which admittedly sucks) all CS majors need to take in math is Calc I and II, discrete math, and statistics. And they dropped out of Calc II like flies, which surprised me, since programming is really just logic and learning techniques and math is really just logic and learning techniques.

The key is to pinpoint an area of history that interests you (political, economic, military, etc.) and a time period that you also find to be interesting, and then narrow down your specifications even further until you're researching essentially one or two people or events. From there, you can slowly broaden your scope as you take in more and more information that pertains to your area of interest, until you get to the point where you're getting more information on extraneous information, and suddenly you know a whole hell of a lot more about a given time period than you ever thought you would.

I was in electrical engineering for about a semester when I realized I hated it. Plus I wasn't motivated at all do even go to class/labs anymore. I dropped out and became NEET for a year and a half. And since I dropped out they won't allow me to even try continuing any other engineering because my University recognizes I'm a faggot and won't give me another chance. Depression is great stuff.

I need to go to my University and find out what I need to get into pharmacy/medicine/CS and if I have any transferable credits soon.

I have absolutely no long-terms plans at all, every day is spend as it's own thing, watching the newest anime or reading a manga, I hold part-time work, but as far as a 'decent' job I am procrastinating everything in my life until it gets to the point where I can no longer ignore it, but is thrown into my face.

In any case, I'm not part of this "hurr NEET is legion" mentality on /jp/, but I am NEET and in order to regularly leave the house, walk through streets, get on public transport and sit in rooms full of people, you have to be more social than I am.

Oh god no. Been there, done that. You'll think it's cool for maybe two, three months. And then the novelty wears off. You exhaust yourself standing in the same position all day and, from time to time, mopping, restocking, and dealing with drunk old Japanese men in business suits (which can be quite the asshats). After that, you're alone, no one to come home to and your communication skills suck too much to make any changes to it even if you wanted to. You can never become one of "them," because you're different. You realize you are wasting your time and you want to go home. If you're going to be alone, you'd rather do it comfortably, in your parents home.

We're 9 people in my class, but we started 21 last year, and the people who dropped out were the most annoying of the lot, and coincidentally, also the part with the lowest powerlevels.

9 people in total isn't enough to make a room feel crowded to me, and there's usually one or two people missing, so it's alright, as long as I sit a couple of seats away from the only person who smokes.

The only things I hate about other people is if they smell, or are noisy/dirty.

It'll be something for you to experience, and who knows, it could work out better for you than it did for me, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Luck had a lot to do with it for me, and that was the best I got out of it. Prepare to be mentally and physically exhausted every day, especially if you are starting as a NEET, as I did.
