I don't see how this thread could've possibly started a shitstorm since anyone who's been on /jp/ for more than 5 minutes knows that never flies. Unless it's a post by moot.

/jp/ is so boring that we get into arguments about how boring it is and they become the most interesting threads on the front page.

It's why metathreads are /jp/'s specialty. We've got nothing else to talk about unless a new VN translation was just released, which is like once every 3-6 months.

/jp/, pretty good. I can talk about any type of Japanese geek content I want here.

/a/ and /v/ are no good because they fail at being geeks. I'd imagine that most of their users post on /b/ or /r9k/.
