Well, high(er) rates are going to be necessary, while not being insane. We do need some sort of a grind, since we apparently like the GRINDAN GAMES. I'd propose something like 10-20x. Whether or not you want to do the 255 level thing is up to you I suppose. I think it would be counter-productive to make characters immortal in PvM, though. Also, MVP arenas are a silly thing. Smaller player base requires at least somewhat elevated drop rates, though, but still make some camping for drops necessary.

As for commands, overpowered is once again not very fun. Keep it limited, make the enjoyment in the game about the community, since you're limiting the community to /jp/ anyway. If we're going to be creative, make a @post or something that shows the text of a random OP from the first page of /jp/.

There are lots of 255 pservers out there. I would make the rates 20-50x, and the max level MUST be 99. When it gets over 99, the classes lose their balances and it just becomes about equips = shit. Keep it original and stay 99/70 and it will be an overall better experience.

Don't make the rates too high and I'll actually play. 20 or 25x tops should keep the leveling rate ok-ish so most of the players are around in the midlevels and won't run out of levels after two weeks. Going past lv 99 is bad.
No donation system / godly item system please, but custom items are OK as long as they're not game breaking (No items that allow you to get more str or dex than the normal maximum, at least not by more than +1-2 tops)

high rate servers are fun for 2days :( (or two hours)
