I keep being ghosted by my language exchange partners.
I've gone through dozens at this point and it's taking a big toll on my motivation.
I do get motivated from seeing my own progress in reading or listening which I can practice on my own, but being able to interact with Japanese people is by far my biggest source of motivation.
For about 5 months I had 2 exchange partners who I talked to weekly or every other week.
I thought I actually made 2 good friends, but yeah they are gone as well now since about a month ago.
I've taken breaks before in my studies when I didn't really have a goal yet, but today was the first time where I was actually just sad to admit that I might need to take a break again to keep having fun with learning in the future.
Do you guys have any tips to stay motivated without taking a break?

Also I know that there's websites like Italki where you can pay for a teacher, but I don't really have the financial means to afford that.
