By the way, whatever happened to the alternate versions of the first Umineko opening? I don't see them anywhere on Youtube. In the original release, you could look in the game files and find special versions of the OP with completely different visuals, which were unused for some reason. The EP2 version had lines like "No Dine, no Knox, no fair" and there were some cool visuals like Shannon and Kanon merging together into one, which is pretty huge foreshadowing so early on. In the end, the only special version that was used in-game was the EP4 version, featuring Evatrice and Ange.

It also fucks up their color palette. The whole point of their designs is making these furniture appear grey, hopeless and subhuman. Incomplete in some way. Why did the Umineko tea parties and ???? stop making any sense at some point?

EP1 has a literal tea party with the cousins and a hidden tea party in the smoking room with the witches.

EP2 has a tea party with Rosa and a hidden tea party in the smoking room with the witches.

EP3 makes the witches' tea party the regular one because the meta has become the main setting of the story, while the "hidden" tea party is a look into Ange's future and her recruitment by Bern

EP4's tea party is Battler and Beato's fight in the rose garden, while the hidden tea party is Bern and Lambda having sex in the underground gold room bed of a random Rokkenjima fragment

EP5's tea party is Erika closing the game with her victory and Natsuhi established as the culprit, while the hidden tea party is Battler coming back to fuck her up

EP6's tea party is Battler marrying Beato, while the hidden tea party is Bern visiting Hachijo's study

EP7 tea party is an entire Rokkenjima story while the hidden tea party is Bern in Hachijo's study again

EP8 tea party is Bern and Lambda preparing for Ciconia while the hidden tea party is a look into Ange's future

It seems at some point they just became parts of the main story after a fake out ending, rather than some separate tea party for meta-banter between the witches. But the theme of having the hidden tea party take place in a higher plane/future/dimension than the main one remains consistent.

Even chapters focus on LOVE, Shkanon, Ange, Maria, foreshadowing, confusing storytelling, great prose and depth. You can analyze them for hours.

Overall Chiester is the best, but the Stakes are close with the garter.

I gave thighs to Eiserne Jungfrau because of the thighwear, namely the white bow garters Gertrude and Cornalia wear. Chiester's thighhighs are pretty plain, which I think accentuate them more than the plain black garters of the stakes or the thighhighs of the Chiesters.

Also this is more of a sprite thing than a uniform thing, but being able to see the part where the thigh leads into the beginings of Gertrude and Cornelia's buttocks makes that area all the more visually appealing.


As for ass, Eiserne Jungfrau has those extra long skirts at the back so you's barely ever get a look at them. It's pretty even between the stakes and Chiesters, but I gave it to the stakes since Chiesters get boobs pretty handily.

Chiester's uniform has a lot going for it. The cutoff vest with dangling tassels accentuates their boobs as good if not greater than Eiserne Jungfrau's frilly version Their skirts are somewhat simple but make use of color highlights in the pleats to keep things interesting. Other elements like the personalized colors and the button-up leotards also make them stand out from the other uniforms. And of course, the bunnygirl aspects are a wonderful touch that makes it look more playful and promiscuous.

I forgot to take it into account, but youre right, the bunny aspect certainly plays into it. I was wrong to say they were all equal in terms of ass/thigh, the presence of the bunny tail clearly places the Chiesters at the top in that regard as well.

It didn't initially occur to me either, but having something like the bunny tail there definitely gives their back-ends more style points. Plus it the pachinko artbook is to be believed, their skirts flair up a bit at the back, leaving them just short enough that you can see their butt cheeks peeking out even without any disturbance.
I do still think Eiserne Jungfrau's garters compliment their thighs better, but in pretty much every other area the Chiesters win.
