My Yuka is high level Youkai who is tied to the nature of flowers, and god help those who dare disturb her.

She lives a life surrounded by flowers all year, and if anyone disturbs her, be they youkai or human, she eliminates them no matter what.

She's more like a manifestation of nature rather than a flower youkai, but unlike fairies, she is far more dangerous than any of the youkai introduced so far.

She is usually active in a place surrounded by flowers, and seems peaceful at first glance but is merciless towards other creatures.

Yuka is not "nice".

I interpreted that part as being more of a general description of how Yuka usually was, and she's mellowed out a bit as she aged. Not necessarily at the level of "nice" but not at the level of being a total ass-jerk either.

Keep in mind that a Touhou character's special ability has NOTHING to do with their strength.

Yukari, for all her HAX, probably isn't as powerful as Yuka (or Remi, or Flan, or Suika, or Yugi, etc.) in a "conventional" battle.


That's pretty much the joke, Yuka's son strong, but her special ability is one of the most "useless" battle wise. Just like how broken Cirno should be, despite merely being the strongest fairy.
