They're usually much cheaper, but I've never been able to compare between an original and a recast...

E2046 is 'hit and miss'. I've got a few kits from them that are extremely good, but a buddy has one that is garbage.

If it's kits then I'd say yeah that's fine to get recasts. Ultimately the quality is higher with an original kit but if you get decent quality recasts it's not so bad and less damage to your wallet. Just be sure not to get any shitty thai recasts because they're horrible quality and while cheap they need tons of prep work before you can start painting (resin is also bad quality). E2046 or Hobbyfan are good places to get recast kits, but again if you want the best quality the original is always going to be better.

I got quite a few kits from E2046 none of bad quality but I heard awhile ago they used to put out some bad recasts. I think it doesn't happen much nowadays but I know if you email them pictures they'll always offer to send you new parts or anything.

I've been playing through for Answer again recently, using 2 shoulder mounted heavy miniguns, a minigun for my right arm weapon and using MOONLIGHT beam sword on the left arm. Currently stuck on AF Answerer, that thing hits like a truck.

But anyway, as much as I am looking forward to Black Rock Shooter, I am also anticipating the World is Mine figure. It looks nice.

I always like to take out the missile launcher wings first, then as long as you stay above the Laser spams target cone you can pepper the outer wings with fire for as long as you see fit.

If you can get them cheaper I'd suggest you wait, but for me there aren't any stores that sell them cheaper then buying from HLJ. That is excluding Kotobukiya because sometimes they do US releases that are cheaper.
