RGD is his most consistently good work, but it's weird how you only get really attached to the characters when they are hands deep in criminal shit. During the first season I found them interesting as characters, but I didn't care that much about them as people despite having their hands clean of shady stuff. I think viewing them from the perspective of three underdogs made me appreciate them more.

It's hard to talk about this series without accidentally spoiling people, considering it has like 4 readers outside Japan who can actually talk about it without danger.

That's never stated in the VN nor is it even implied. I know that something similar might've been shown in the anime or some spin-off, but that's still not canon. Bernkastel comes from a very Higurashi like world, but from what we hear in Umineko there are still differences to Higurashi. The "infinite monkey theorem" metapher Lambdadelta uses to describe Bern's origin doesn't fit at all wih Rika's circumstances.

Extract the .iso and run the setup instead of mounting them.
I packaged the install files in an iso, but for some reason when they're mounted, the dashes in the file names are replaced with underscores. So the installer can't find the files. That was my fault for not testing, didn't think there would even be an issue.

I uploaded the files unpackaged and deleted the isos since apparently that didn't work out.
