Curious if anyone is out there deliberately studying 5h+ a day, beyond passive immersion. If you follow a sort of routine; maybe there’s a thing or two I could learn/adopt. Currently as a summer-break student I’m immersing rather intensively most the day, with my “routine” being watching one anime episode+making sentence cards of any lines I don’t understand, reading for ~1h and collecting all unknown words that pop up, then making anki sentence card(s) our of them that makes use of all those words, ~1h of shadowing along videos, and another ~1h translating from Japanese content with english subtitles to japanese, and seeing how my translation compares. The rest of the time is spent pretty freely. I find doing these things increases vocab pretty notably on a daily basis, while hecka improving speaking ability through shadowing (and reading reading content out loud). Speaking seems to translate to better auditory comprehension as well
