Hello, I've been trying to learn more vocabulary over the last two weeks and I can say I have failed miserably. I simply can't seem to remember most of the words that I've put into anki no matter how hard I try. So what ends up happening is that I have to do 70+ vocabulary words a day, most of which I fail and have to all over again the next day. I've been stuck for the past half week and I'm unsure as to what to do. I've been making the cards myself with hiragana because trying to do the presets with kanji was just impossible because I don't know the readings. I do know quite a bit of Kanji using Heising's method but now I want to try actually being able to speak. I usually will recognize vocab through either an anime or a song and will add it to my deck but I seem to forget them so quickly. When I spend over an hour and a half, most of which on the same 30 characters I keep filtering through because I can't remember them. Is this just something I'm going to have to give up because I simply can't do it?
