DJMAX is plenty good. Shame they got cucked by Konami and had to remove basic rhythm game features, but as far as the song list and basic competence of the charts, it's a pretty good game, if a bit pricey. It's definitely worth trying to git gud with a controller. It's a whole different experience, and everything but the SC charts are designed around it.

Monitor latency and IIDX isn't as big of a problem as it used to be 10 years ago. The game has changed over the years and can be tweaked to work better with whatever display you have. Some TVs are also just better than they used to be back then.
I imagine playing something like Sirius or Lincle on that TV wouldn't be particularly nice. Though it's always possible to just get used to the delay of a setup.

when the techs replace the springs or switches on the LIGHTNING cab, they use the old setup, which defeats the entire point because there are supposed to be lighter keys for the LIGHTNING cab.
