24147631 No.24147631 [Reply] [Original]

When I was much younger and going through school, life was incredibly shit. Getting awful grades and having barely any friends really took its toll on me. One day as I was walking home from school, I kept imaging life in Gensokyo and how I would interact with the characters. Ever since that day any time I wasn't talking to anyone or working on something I was imagining myself stuck in the world of Gensokyo. I believe I imagined every sort of scenario that could possibly happen to me

>Somehow wander into Gensokyo and end up in a forest. Youkai smells me and fucking devours me

>Wander into Gensokyo, find the Hakurei Shrine, bang Reimu and start a 2hu harem

This went on for the better part of a year and then I just stopped thinking about it so much (I grew out of 2hu then). Anyone else fantasize about doing this at all?

If you're imagining a light and fluffy Gensokyo filled with cute superpowered girls who use their abilities to fuck around and have fun, there's no reason to not want to live there yourself, even considering the lack of technology and the fact that you probably would have to become a girl yourself to get in.

If you're imagining a rough Gensokyo where ordinary humans get eaten for the crime of straying outside the village, the only reason to want it is if you have a deathwish or genuinely hate the modern world. But if you're in one of those groups, it's a good choice.

I honestly don't fantasize about the specifics of living in Gensokyo that much, because I believe I'll go there in the afterlife, so might as well just wait instead of fantasizing and focus on other things. I'd say a vast majority of them do. Youkai generally eat humans with very few exceptions (being those that regularly work with humans such as Keine). Hell you could probably find a swarm of fairies picking apart a corpse like vultures.
>>24152515
What you're describing isn't two Gensokyos, but rather Gensokyo from different points of view. Gensokyo is described as having the human village where villagers who even try to get to the shrine are likely to die along the way.
You don't see the bad side of this society though if you have power like those "cute superpowered girls" you mentioned. Their lives are incredible where they do whatever they want and just have fun all day. Humans can participate in that, but you must either have innate ability (Reimu) or rigorously work to increase your own power (Marisa, but one could argue that the power she's gaining in order to compete is making her less of a human)

Basically humans have it pretty rough but you can still appreciate the world for what it is through the window even if you can't participate yourself. People are at least more friendly and the world seems more beautiful and vibrant in Gensokyo than on the outside world. There's no real fear of violent crimes, unemployment, politics, or other crises as long as you stay in your place which is an upside.
Youkai have it fucking made though >>24162180 has the right idea.

Your only hope is gaining the patronage of Remilia. Remilia canonically has the power of manipulating fate, and according to Akyuu, this allows transforming humans into half-youkai. She also has high enough power level that Reimu will likely rationalize this as part of the natural order and not immediately murder you like she murdered Fortune Teller. Is this because of the sheer effort involved to get youkai to obey and not circumvent a rule to leave the human village alone? >>24171444
>Id say a vast majority of them do.
I disagree with that. A lot of Youkai don't eat humans even in the original myths. And in the lore, it's pretty explicitly mentioned that some characters do not. Fairies for instance are pranksters that might sometimes kill somebody by accident, but don't eat people. You also have Youkai like Yuuka or Medicine that are VERY dangerous, but for completely different reasons.

>There's no real fear of violent crimes, unemployment, politics, or other crises as long as you stay in your place which is an upside.
That's also not completely true. Poverty is shown as being a thing, which means poverty and violent crimes are most likely as well. Especially considering the human village is basically a anarchy without any real police force expect simple mob justice and expulsion basically being a death sentence.

As for politics, Youkai constantly mess with the lives of human villagers for the sake of political gains. This is shown pretty clearly in some of the spin off manga. Obviously, I doubt your average farmer has much to worry about. But if you are doing anything of even remote note, like working as a merchant, you can expect youkai to meddle with your lives constantly.

You might not get actual supernatural power from doing this but you might be able to be employed along with the kappa as technic staff to build whatever the Moriya fancy this time.
You don't get to fly with the other magical lolis but it's still better than being a peasant in Human Village. Working directly for the Moriya Shrine also means that you enjoy some degree of protection from the civilized youkai as they don't want to piss the gods off.

>That would get you killed by the youkai secret police or Reimu.
To not get killed by Reimu, do the display only once, with something big and choose the day right. The Moriya will take you into custody before she acts because she is usually somewhat slow.
The hard part is gathering materials and the youkai spies. Don't allow any suspicious shit that could be linked to youkai to enter you house, unless you want to be spied by Zashiki-Warashi or the like.
You probably can't go to Kourindo without being eaten or noticed by youkai, so you will have to keep things simple. Build some kind of wood-and-water calculator or something.

But yeah this is probably harder than I thought it was.

A youkai can be a beast, a demon, a god, a magician, pretty much anything with great power is considered a youkai in Gensokyo. Someone with great power that kills and battles other beings of great power is probably a youkai, especially if their reasons for killing are less than justified sometimes. Patchouli who was just a human mage is considered a youkai. Is Reimu technically a youkai at this point? Realistically, it should be impossible for an outsider coming in to already know how so much about how Gensokyo works, detailed history of incidents, and the names and faces of several people. You could probably convince Reimu that you aren't just an ordinary human by simply being correct about many things.

>> No.24291459

>>24291340
Technically speaking, you could probably go a lot further if you try a more risky play.
Don't go to Reimu immediately, instead go to the human village and start spouting off your information. Your goal is to either get the humans to fear you or be impressed by you. If you do that enough, you may start to become a god or youkai of surveillance or all-knowing

If that amount of belief gets you started on the path toward godhood, no need to spout secret meta-knowlegde that is sure to piss off someone. You could probably woo the villagers with a modern world skill that you might have : hypnotism, art, maths, physics, ...

>You might not get actual supernatural power from doing this but you might be able to be employed along with the kappa as technic staff to build whatever the Moriya fancy this time.
That would require you to have a a above average grasp of electronics already. And there is a decent chance Yukari just won't abduct you, or at least make damn sure you won't reach the human village alive, if you do.

>You're better off showing off any musical talent you might have or introducing capitalism in the Human Village.
Musical talents are more useful outside Gensokyo. And trying to introduce capitalism is definitely going to get you killed.

>How much influence would your meta-knowledge grant you?
That would mostly depend on how normal it is. If you are the only human villager to ever have that level of meta knowledge, then it might earn you a small advantage.

>>24295030
>You could probably woo the villagers with a modern world skill that you might have : hypnotism, art, maths, physics, .
You aren't the first outsider to reach the village though. They might like outsiders quite a bit, but they aren't that easily fooled into thinking you are a god.

Alice is considered a youkai simply because she used a magic that allows her to go without eating real food. If just not needing to eat counts as rejecting your humanity, then there's no fucking way that Fantasy Nature doesn't count as rejecting your humanity.

From Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, in the 外来人 chapter (around page 223), it is said that the outsiders have entered Gensokyo many times before, and they have superior knowledge/tech to the human in Gensokyo. They sometimes also bring unknown tools (phone etc). Sometimes, they bring in new trend/fashion to the human village and youkai alike. Most outsiders, if did not land in the human village, would be eaten by youkai after the youkai gets bored. If landed in the village, they would be deported by Reimu back to the outside world. (Hence I guess how the Gensokyo = Dream came about). It is said that a few chooses to remain in Gensokyo, and they all have "special knowledge" that is a treasure to the locals. It is also noted that soccer was brought to Gensokyo by outsiders.
Therefore, you would want to convince Reimu to not deport you, and also have special knowledge in order to be respected.

>> No.24311496

You would earn their respect pretty easily if you have a basic knowledge of science, sure. But you can just about forget about becoming a god. You're still going to have to work to make something of your life.

Also, Symposium of Post-mysticism says this when talking about Sanae:
>However, examples of humans like her who come in to Gensokyo by their own will and settle down are rare. Upon that, she is a human being that is adjusting to Gensokyo.
Which seems to indicate that most people that decide to stay in Gensokyo end up miserable.

You either retvrn and Daoist max to become 天人 or 仙. Or, For the magic approach, I suppose you would first want to study theoretical mathematics 18 hours. If you think about it, Renko is a theoretical physics student studying the grand unified theory. Furthermore, although laws of natural science no longer holds in Gensokyo, but disregarding the fantasy elements, what knowledge is remains the same. Therefore, logic/mathematics are still very valuable, given they studies or shows the relation/structure between symbolic objects instead of objects in the world. Finally, when you do danmaku battles, there are at least 3 spatial dimensions to account for, and more dimensions are possible depending on the spellcard. Therefore, it can be reasonably assumed that these kind of "senses" are natural to beings in Gensokyo. Even Cirno is capable of laying out the trajectory of many objects at least in 3 dimensional space, and process all the information needed to control temperature at the same time. Since you are only human, you lack this attribute by nature, therefore you must make it up by rigorous study of mathematics. Once you have achieved a good level of mathematics, you can perhaps try to somehow show you ability to one of the magicians. At this point, given your mathematics/logics skill, you basically just need a set of starting points of magic so your theoretical knowledge can touch the reality. Or, if you are really talented, perhaps you can figure out these starting points via induction through observation of Marisa's doll performance etc. Finally, you could come up with a grand theory that unifies all of the powers of Touhou characters. Then, you could probably become a god.

I'm not gonna lie, the biggest reason I started crying when I saw that was just- I felt wanted.

Most of my life has been spent being 'second best', being what's settled for rather than what's wanted.

So feeling her hug me like that, even though I thought her ribs were going to crack under the pressure- that...

Nobody's ever hugged me like that before. Not even the woman I was going to marry.

She wasn't the most talkative woman, but her words were often rich and as such, not much needed to be said- rather than one of those folk that can fill a room with rambling and have nothing of value.

Her manner of speaking was equal parts old lady and college student. Prone to making dry jokes, usually for her own amusement.

She always stuck kombu in the rice pot to soak with it. It made a difference- I'm not sure it justifies the cost to me, but it was definitely a good thing. I've taken to doing it for my rice in the morning.

That sounds so incredible, yet also so tragic. You say you perceived you being in a life for months and that all went away in an instant. You were prepared for an unending life and it was all ripped away from you just like that.

You had the chance to be someone important in a world of excitement. I don't know what it is about Gensokyo that makes it seem so appealing to many when compared to this world. Personally I believe that our world seems vibrant on the outside, but is ultimately cold and unfulfilling when you get down to it, while Gensokyo is somewhat frightening on the outside, but is truthfully welcoming and beautiful. Whatever the case, Gensokyo must be truly significant if it is what's caused the many other anons in this thread to consider risking death all for the sake of an opportunity to truly live.

At the back of my mind, I always have a hope that one day I'll get gapped to Gensokyo. An unusual way of thinking, I know, but at this point that's what gets me through my days. If not that, then maybe we'll all have better luck with what comes next after our current lives end.

Most religious magic would require you to become saint-tier for that specific religion and at that point you probably woulnd't care anymore about the lowly reasons you wanted cool magic for starters.

I've seen stories like this, where someone hits their head or gets punched and while they're down, they experience a whole lifetime. One particularly well known one involved a dude getting concussed and experiencing decades and decades of life, getting married, having kids, the works. His mind broke him out of it when he noticed a lamp 'looked wrong' one day, like it didn't fit in euclidean space. He said that when he woke up in reality he experienced severe depression because he'd essentially had his own family ripped away from him.
The human brain is capable of a lot, and not always for the best. moe harukawa tried to draw an original manga and it got cancelled after like two chapters, and then there was a fate doujin (non-h, I think) under a different name that bore a suspicious similarity to her artstyle
of the major touhou manga artists, mizutaki had been doing touhou for years before getting lotus eaters, as had hirasaka, who continued doing touhou after VFiS finished.
so it seems that leaving touhou after doing an official manga is a death sentence

She is cute. Not like... moe cute, I mean cute like- all the little idiosyncracies. I think it's just stuff you notice after close proximity for weeks on end. the fact that the corner of her mouth would twitch upwards from her usual neutral face when she thought of one of her jokes. Not that they were particularly good, but they were likely based in wordplay I couldn't grasp.

She likes to cut tofu into bars rather than cubes in miso soup, "they're easier to grab".

Once she figured "I was cold" and latched onto my arm. Maybe she just couldn't admit whatever woke her up scared her.

I think about it a lot. Like... every day. Some days I wish to go back, some I almost wish she could come here and see the outside world. Though it'd be culture and climate shock, given I live in the desert.

Plus maybe a pyromancer in a dry environment is less than a good idea.

Fairly "normal", all in all. Not very busty but not tsurupettan.

She's short. 155cm or so. But mostly everyone was small there.

I say her hair was white but it had a slightly bluish cast to it in certain light.

She was very visibly Japanese in facial features. Her skin was pale, almost unhealthily so.

Her eyes were red- duh, but. Like a bed of coals that threatened to ignite again with just the lightest breeze.

Really if it wasn't for the eyes and hair she'd be quite normal-looking.

She talked to herself a lot... Probably just to keep her mind moving so she didn't doze off into oblivion and autopilot a year away. She didn't ask why every day I checked my phone to see if I got signal. I was taking photos initially but I quit.

yukari's power is godlike but that doesn't mean she's all-knowing or prepared for any contingency. a surprise bullet to the face will still hurt her, or setting her on fire - after all, her power is "manipulating boundaries" in the loosest possible sense, but it isn't "permanent immunity to damage"

if the standard adult human dietary need is around 2000 kcal a day and the average adult human body contains 81k kcal, then, assuming a youkai was perfectly efficient in food storage or internal energy storage and had the same energy consumption as a human, they would need to feed on one person every month or two
even though most of the youkai in gensokyo are young girls, they are presumably more active than modern standards so that would cancel out the reduced caloric needs by size/gender
presumably, some youkai can feed on things other than humans, so they may not even need to feed that often at all. some youkai, like kogasa, we know feed off of something intangible (surprise) rather than actual physical energy so there is some spiritual calculation there that we can't do with biology
but if one knew the exact rate at which youkai needed to feed on humans, and the fertility rate within the human village, you could calculate the human:youkai population ratio. and if you had a solid figure for them that deviated from the expected value, then you would know how many humans yukari has to spirit away into gensokyo every year in order to keep the status quo

Well, what kind of youkai we talkin? Fairies, sure. A shotgun would be ideal. Anything more powerful and you'll experience increasingly diminishing returns until we get to any stage boss at which point, if you can even hit them, their sheer magical, and mythical abilities alone would make any non-magical gun worthless. Physically, most youkai have some sort of regeneration and others like yuugi could just outright shrug off bullets without feeling it. Keep in mind that depending on how literally you interpret the games, it takes an average of several tens of thousands of magical projectiles to kill anyone cirno level or higher. Marisa uses actual missiles, so you're probably not gonna be able to do any damage to a real threat with a gun. Of course you probably wont be fighting any named youkai but even still, a gun is at the very best only good for stalling the weakest youkai while you run as fast as humanly possible in the other direction.

Frankly, the most dangerous named youkai are probably Yukari, Mystia, Chen, Nitori, and Medicine. The rest either don't hurt humans or have very specific rules. Like, I know people tend to joke that Yuuka is a insane psychopath. But you really have to try pretty hard to piss her off.

medicine, mystia, and nitori are avoidable (stay away from their territory / from being out at night), but yukari can at any moment decide to see how you'd react if she gapped drugs into your stomach or blurred the border between your sanity and madness or w/e, not to mention just straight up just gapping your head away from your body if she simply wanted to kill you

this is why it's important to immediately recruit koishi. she's the only one that can kill the gap hag

My longest and most detailed dream happened when I used to go sparring. I haven't been knocked out but I could've had mild concussions since I started having migraines and sometimes wake up in the night super sensitive to light/sound. I couldn't sleep much despite the fatigue from training.

Anyways on the night I finally slept well, that's when it happened. Mine was with tenshi, and lasted for about 6-8 months.

The strangest thing is I didn't know much about tenshi back then. The dream was consistent about her character, a religious clan, a village that was transferred to heaven, except for two things, she had straight black hair and was named after a fruit, "chico".

Even after the dream it reminded me of tenshi. Then after reading about her on touhou wiki, one detail was a dead giveaway,

>Before becoming a celestial, her first name was Chiko (地子, lit. "earth child").

I couldn't have known this. I could imagine my mind structuring the dream based on the vague idea of her character, but getting a detail like this correct is one hell of a coincidence.

I became obsessed with that dream for the whole day. I wrote it down on a notebook which took 15 paragraphs. Waking up from it felt like I gave myself jet lag, it felt like it wouldn't end until I was sent home. It had a logical structure from beginning to end, and I could remember so much of it.

I really enjoyed reading this. I never thought someone else would have a somewhat similar experience.

Why is there such a massive disconnect between PMiSS description of the windows games events and the events as shown in the windows games? Is everything they say in the games just a joke, is it all just a big meme? Are they just memeing? Because if I hadn't read this I would never have questioned that the characters are actually fighting each other and that when they say "I have killed this person and buried their body" they are actually doing just that. What did ZUN mean by this? Was he just trying to dissuade edgelords?

I started at 6 and it took me until like partway through 9 to realize that no one is actually dying after 5. It's weird that everyone just throws around death threats like they're nothing but I guess it's just really strange banter.
I remember being so sad because I'd find characters I liked early on and be like "aw she's cute, it's a shame reimu's about to murder her." It made me get a massive hatred for the protagonists (mainly Reimu, since she was much scarier) for supposedly slaughtering my new friends that I'm still having trouble moving past to this day. She did kill Orange though who was perfectly innocent and that's unacceptable.

I'm really, really convinced that ZUN did a sort of soft retcon here because there is absolutely nothing until either 9 or 10 that gives away that they AREN'T dying. I'm pretty sure someone in IN explicitly mentioned that they were going to be killing a lot of people or something like that. It just gives a really weird reverse double gap-moe. They're cute girls, but they're actually youkai and they fight and kill each other and look kinda like creepy dolls, except they actually don't, and they were just larping the entire time.

I do, then I remember that my absolute lack of knowledge of the Japanese language, let alone culture and folklore, means I won't understand anything about Youkai or even Gensokyo itself.

However, my knowledge of the Touhou wiki will mean that I'll have a very specific advantage over all the Touhous, and depending on which time period I'll arrive at (As in, if I'm lucky, somewhere around the earlier incidents) I might be able to make some sort of profit out of my knowledge of the events to come, or kinda trick the Gensokyo residents into thinking I'm something other than a worthless human outsider (Like, say, an ex-Lunarian/NASA), maybe I can even aquire faith and become a god.

Then I remember my social skills are ass and know that even if I reach the village, I'll definitely get beaten, raped and eaten for saying something stupid

Well, plenty of the early Youkai are actually definitely foreign from a Japanese perspective. Remi probably speaks in French and English normally, Rumia is definitively latin if her name references where she's from, Patchy is almost certainly western, Wriggle similarly, Mystia is German (and as such probably swears a hell of a lot more than you would imagine), etc. And the Prismrivers are probably American or something.

Honestly, language almost certainly isn't an issue in Gensokyo if a lot of those Youkai do know Japanese, since I doubt they would go to the length to learn it, thus making it incredibly likely for said Youkai to have been subconsciously fed it by the barrier.

>>24497175
Danmaku used within spell card duels is explicitly non-lethal, so talking about Marisa's 'missiles' as if they are particularly powerful is rather disingenuous. Still, Youkai are difficult to beat physically; I would assume the most physically durable Youkai did not originate from a human form, however, and are likely Stage 3 and up bosses. Youkai that use their abilities to reduce the damage they've taken are likely to be more common than purely physically durable Youkai, however; I'd only really put into the physically durable category those who belong to a species which are explicitly said to be powerful, or said to be such regardless of species. For instance, that would likely mean Tengu, Vampires, and Oni, if we categorize by species, and youkai like Kazami Yuuka and Hong Meiling would be physically powerful and durable enough to take bullets to the face with close to no damage. Shou Toramaru and Nue Houjuu would likely be in similar categories.

Meanwhile, species such as inchlings, kappa, and the like are likely to be comparatively squishy, nd that's not even getting into Magicians, who are simply humans who have been able to subside off magic rather than food and as such transcended humanity to become Youkai (Patchouli is a particularly squishy example, given that she's actually an asthmatic and would likely be given a broken bone by a punch or kick from one who's moderately fit). Youkai like Rumia, Kogasa, etc., are somewhere in the middle; you won't be able to kill them with one gunshot, unlike you would with the particularly squishy Youkai, but you would be able to drive them off, as it would probably actually hurt them rather than do nothing. Though, why you would need a gun for someone like Kogasa is beyond me; she's rather friendly and doesn't even need to eat humans.

You may have noticed how I neglected to mention fairies. That's because fairies are so weak they barely need mentioning; a good punch will probably kill one.

The thing is, I don't want to live in the village. A small shack in the forest, potentially (I another few theories about Youkai that might help me survive) unbothered. Gathering mushrooms and plants to grow my garden.

I might go to the village once a while, trade some herbs or whatever, maybe some meat from an unfortunate animal. I'll probably get to meet the Touhous, perhaps even befriend some of them, maybe even help them in their goals and affairs. Maybe even find love.
I could forget about this world we live in and it's awful society. I can forget about humans and the pain they bring each other simply by existing. I can forget about everything, and then, just maybe, my head will be clear.

Gensokyo is the ultimate form of escapism, and how I wish I could go there, more than anywhere else. But I know I never will, and even if by some miracle I'll find my way there, my dreams would still never come true.

We were friends and did almost everything together. She stood out from everyone else. The other villagers were otherworldy in a divine and pure way. They spend most of their time in meditation and practicing rituals. But she was lazy and dismissive when it comes to religion and was the type to do whatever, not giving a fuck. In a way, I found some kind of sanity in that, so I liked keeping her around. She was the only one who felt human. Later, I would realize this was exactly how she felt about me. She was unable to make any friends with the villagers, so she thought she was unlikable until I came along.
In the end, it was clear that she very much loved me. She didn't want to lose what might have been her only friend, so she tried to delay the village's ascension to heaven by causing a disaster on earth. She wasn't strong enough, even I could stop her.
We did all sorts of things together. One time we revived a local martial arts that worked exactly like spell card battles. My attacks were really fun, I could shoot fist danmaku by punching.
I enjoyed everything I did with her, even when working. In fact that's how we became friends. She had to help me clean an abandoned house, made for outsiders. I was the first (and last) to show up in a while, so it was in a really bad shape. We decided it was best to rebuild it and had the same idea of a modern looking house, and it ended up a lot bigger than before. As thanks for making her punishment bearable, she would spend the next few days showing me everything to see in the village. It turns out she knew a lot about the outside world, and brought it up everytime we were alone. Her knowledge was outdated though, but we had plenty of time catching up to the 21st century. If I ran out of stories, I would just talk about my life, friends, etc.

isn't that the whole point of spell card rules? The whole thing was that the shrine maiden can't be killed, but the youkai were getting sick of being unable to act, so spell card rules were devised in order to allow youkai to start incidents and have a chance of sorts at beating the shrine maiden without having to kill her. Similarly, the incident resolvers can keep rechallenging until they win, so incidents can be resolved too. It's not necessarily larping, but it allowed the youkai to actually fulfil their natures.

Like I said before, if I hadn't actually read pmiss I wouldn't have believed or even considered it. I don't think it's very consistent with the games and, here we are finally at my heretical point, something which clashes so heavily with the main games is hard, if not impossible, for me to take seriously. There, I said it.

>> No.24531219

>>24531057
I wouldn't say it clashes hugely, because if you were actually playing to kill each other you wouldn't have bosses using these elaborate patterns designed to show a meaning, you'd just fire a billion lasers directly at the player's face before they can do anything. Hell, in someone like yuyuko's case, you'd just straight up kill them with your ability. The games show that spellcards are meant to show patterns, and that their actual lethality is secondary. It's why I find myself thinking that you can't truly understand a character until you've bested their danmaku

Or maybe it's because it's touhou is a shmup and needs to have gameplay that is fun and playable. I'm not a big fan of explaining gameay mechanics with lore, especially something as universal as a shmup. I don't think anyone would play the games and wonder why they aren't just dropping a bullet larger than the screen on top of you within 1 second of starting a fight. All I'm saying is that I weigh the games and things featured within the games more heavily than anything else. Taking only those into consideration, there is no way that I would have questioned that they were doing it for real and sometimes dying. I appreciate the gravity of what I'm saying in regards to touhou and the way the majority of fans view series in general. Personally I just can't make myself believe that ZUN never intended them to be dying.

No matter how bad things get, it's almost assured things will improve.

>I thought she was one of the taller ones

She is, from who I saw, but most of Mokou seeming 'tall' is just presence- most everyone was physically small. Then again I'm a big dude, so take my height perceptions with a grain of salt.

Come to think of it, that might be why she made the joke. I stand a solid foot above anyone I saw there.

Even if that is true, that doesn´t make it a good thing. A secret service agent murdering political dissidents for the sake of maintaining political power is still going to hell. So is Reimu.

there's nothing wrong with disturbing the balance. sumireko and the moon people get to play with the balance without getting fucking murdered so reimu is just being a cold-blooded murderer. couldn't he have instead been exiled out to the modern world by the gap hag? it may be difficult but some youkai manage to survive
miko apologists are just disgusting human beings

>> No.24546783

>>24538451
I mean if Im being honest I never questioned why a few youkai from the previous games would survive in the next ones, and all together the number that "survive" is pretty small. If Reimu claimed to have killed someone and then it turned out she didn't, I just assumed it was like any other story where sometimes people survive near-fatal encounters. There is nothing in the games, in my opinion, that needed the explanation given in pmiss. It only made things more confusing and why less consistent. Do you really expect me to believe a serious encounter with the god of the afterlife in the climax of the first four windows games was supposed to be "a joke"? I'm just saying, pmiss is pretty incinsistent with everything else in the games, dark humor nonwithstanding.

The only way to know if the dreams you have or had are real or dreams you must practice lucid dreaming in that way if you have luckily one of the dreams were you end up in gensokyo you could try to dream check to see if is real and if isn't real then you can do whatever you want and you will be unable to feel anything but if is real then you cant do anything at all but you will feel everything as if was real
