I'd argue that it'll be fine since its phantasy star and has PSO2 backing/synergy behind not to mention it's a decent mobile game in it's own right despite people shitting on it and calling it left side fgo Also the game has lore ties to PSO2 anyways but ultimately idola is it's own thing mostly. The story is pretty decent but then again despite how shit Sega may be the one thing that never changed through the decades was how they handled and care about the lore especially when it comes to phantasy star for some reason.

Id say some events are grindy but the game has full auto and stuff so you can do whatever while the game plays itself. Not sure if you're aware but the game has pvp and raid batt,e ranking that you can do to get gems and shit.

Haven't played Enstars, but that does remind me of my time on both versions of Engirls. Events were also pretty harsh, and I only bothered seriously going for them a few times.

But I still liked playing casually and picking up lower rarity stuff and stockpiling stam items between them. And I figured spending my resources on one definite card I know I want was better than on gacha to maybe get something I like.

I think I spent money on stam regen in the original a few times, to help make sure I made it.

The main problem with Another Eden is free gems are practically non-existent aside of daily logins once you got most of the easier ones while the gacha rates is also one of the lowest ones. The powercreep went from an old character which can deal a few millions of damage to a new character which can deal a hundred million damage is retarded as well.

And you can beat everything just fine with free characters so it doesn't really matter. At worst you can buy the character you want with 20$.

Goddamn those hard mode stages are tough, I don't even want to play nightmare.
They really get you into the Muv-Luv Alternative mood though, air support is nearly useless and long range units get shredded in a couple of turns. You really need fast units that have high evasion and that can get in quick for a melee attack.

HappyEle's "standards" might be brainwashing you. That sounds really bad to me, although it's true I've seen worse estimates.

But I admit I got a strong belief that any kind of premium stones is exclusively for gacha. Even in Priconne I abhor using jewels outside of gacha unless it's for raising event characters. Used to completely avoid jewel refreshes, increased drops or not, even now I only do 30s for double and 60s for triple hard. Games with no other stockable alternative for stamina recovery are painful.
