If there are available options to circumvent them and you choose not to use them then I would say so. I was never big on the idea of filters because I usually just ignore the tripfags I don't like. Then Arc started being even more of a shitposter than he used to be so rather than bitching about it I just filtered his posts. It worked very well so I'm not sure why anyone would refuse to use a script.

A similar analogy would be something like idol threads. I don't like them but I don't go around complaining about them and asking them to be banned from /jp/. I just ignore or hide them.

You also posted something about how you didn't want to "censor" /jp/, but how is moot applying forced anon to /jp/ any different from you applying it yourself with a script?
