Hi, i recently bought an office PC as a budget Emubox, and i am curious about testing Project Diva's arcade dump.

my problem is that i have heard the full dump is like 100 GBs or so. since im not even sure if my machine would be able to run it full speed and i dont want to waste my time downloading all of that for something i dont even know its gonna work, i want to know if theres something like a barebones version of the dump?

I want to submit a few files to the upcoming Touhou Pad Pack 7 release, but I've never made any .sm files before, so I could use some feedback. Reflect a little on what a PUC means to an ordinary person. It's means that he's very good(???). On the other hand, a regular player understands the timing window, the accuracy required for a PUC as well as the intricacies of each chart (wow he cleared that difficult section). In a sense, it's like a speedrunning tournament if such a thing existed. If certain levels were picked and everyone got one attempt to speedrun it. Your post would be something like "the speed run tournament is so hype when tiny plays. He got a 58 on 1-6, almost 13'd 2-1 and 15'd 7-3."

Regular players understand the hype, the majority of the public don't, it's all single player and everything is choke full of autism. The difference is that rhythm games put more weight on sightreads than speedrunners do. A sightread 99% is infinitely cooler than any old perfect, as difficult as a perfect can be. This is what sdvx and popn get right, brand new song reveals every tournament so the players can show off their sight-read abilities. Outside of that, it's like

My suggestion to make things interesting, as broken as it may be, is for sdvx tournaments to be ones where you pick two 17-19 non-award songs for your opponent that you don't have to play and vice-versa; the last round is both players sight-reading as usual. Same thing for the other games; two picks with a difficulty cap, the goal being to tilt your opponent. Maybe I'm missing the big picture but I think it would be hella interesting to watch top players try and push each other's buttons on an international stage.

This type of list is far more common in the 12 category because the variation in difficulty is so high. But this should give you some good direction for 10s and there's another list for 11s as well.

Elisha 10 should be at the bottom though, that's a really easy one as well.

And try to start introducing random and being comfortable with it cuz as you keep playing it'll make you better.

If you literally can't it must be a problem with your machine; lasers drifting off straight lines without any input and 5 second delays on presses sounds like a problem that's not your fault. It's probably just a poorly specced machine. It's a shame but that's what arcades are for.
My first sound voltex plays were in the 12 to 14 range so if you go to an arcade and jump right in, it shouldn't be long to work your way up to 15s and pass them properly.
