ERIKANTRICE
manifesto:https://pastebin.com/XVrRMWqS
booru:https://erikce.booru.org

Guys i cant endure anymore, i never see so much yurishit in my life.
Literrally who created yuri must be hanged alive, is like the author self insert as a girl that act like a male incel.
Didnt matter how many i read yuri shit become more and more what a fuck.

Ok i express my feeling than is very sad that no one discuss about erikantrice when i was banned sad.
So lets discuss toghether.

Logic error shkanontrice solution didnt had sense.
Why?
Simple because the window was really sealed, erika brain froced her to lie about seal existence to explain kanon exit without erika=kanon.
Remember the fight between gaap and dlanor.
Dlanor laught when gaap said that kanon saved battler.
Gaap said kanon because she know kanon=beatrice
Dlanor laught because she know erika=kanon.

But dont give a shit and image for a moment that the seal really didnt exist.
In this case the logic error didnt had any sense.
The window is open george, shannon, kumasawa and hideyoshi could save battler.
For exit from logic error battler must said one of these for exit from the window and take my place, but in 1000 years inside logic error battler never think about this.
Then why hideyoshi let shannon exit
He suspect about servants after erika said to him that.

Cmon discuss about it

I wonder if Ryu has the balls to give Naima a slow and painful death in Phase 2. Something on the level of Rosa getting eaten by the spider. I especially want it to include tons of psychological anguish at the prospect of her own death.

Imagine Blueyao pulling her baby and adult teeth out with pliers, one by one, without anesthesia. And then she gets stripped naked as a punishment for pissing herself during the torture. And then all the blood from her toothless mouth mixes with her tears and snot and stains her flat loli chest. And then she shits herself and gets burned alive as a punishment for being such a dirty brat.

Meanwhile, as she burns, screams and begs with a broken voice, completely out of her mind, Blueyao uses his selcom to project a recording of her cutest moments and all the adorable things she used to say. And he jacks off to it, using his P3 talent to alternate between looking at the innocent girl in the video, pathetically, tragically unaware of her horrifying fate, and the lump of human flesh shrieking in pain near him, smelling like shit, piss, vomit and blood. And then he cums because the fact that the cutie in the video actually had the potential for such foul stench and such a grotesque appearance... is just too lewd. Too pathetic and humiliating.

Girls are so cute that any reaction they have is lewd. Especially if it's an uncontrollable reaction from extreme pain or pleasure, because it takes control away from their minds and dehumanizes them. Pathetic! Pulling their teeth out makes them lose their minds in no time!

Fiction allows perverts all over the world to fap to these pathetic creatures, because otherwise seeing such a torture IRL would trigger their sense of empathy and horrify them. Not that it wouldn't be lewd anyway, but the horror and desire to make it stop would make it impossible for that lewdness to register in your dick.

Considering they all have super special brains, I fully expect a horrifying scene where Rethabile is wounded and bleeding heavily, and she asks Miyao to put her out of her misery. Miyao can't bring himself to do it and runs away. She is captured, sent to Takano's lab and dissected alive. She spends a month with her skull left open, not allowed to die until they finish all the experiments, trembling from the pain and fear, constantly aware of the fact that her life is over and her brain has been fucked beyond repair even if someone comes to save her life. She will die in the end.

And instead of dying the glorious death she wanted, she is forever remembered as the princess that died a fucked up death at the hands of psychos who tortured her for a whole month in inhumane ways. That disgusting story is the only thing people will remember about her. Everything else she did in life will be overshadowed by that horrible story!

I think the factory ending is supposed to happen 1000 years into the future. And probably created by aliens.

There is no way a massive factory that extends beyond the horizon, where you can't see the bottom or the top because there is machinery as far as the eye can see, can possibly exist anywhere on Earth during the story.

Meow said that she only hesitates to reveal her sex because it would also affect Miyao. This wouldn't be the case if Miyao was really a dude.

Miyao gets super defensive about his masculinity and shouts that he's a man at every turn. Suspicious.

They look girly and short as hell for their age. This can't possibly be a man.

Miyao totally has a pussy, which also explains why he's not as perverted as Jayden despite being a WTC protagonist. He's so used to having a pussy that mere female nudity isn't enough to arouse him. And no, it's not because he's gay because he's not gay at all. He seems to like Lingji and Maricarmen.

>culprit takes ideas from the bible and wants to metaphorically turn herself and her grandpa into immortal historical figures like Jesus

>Umineko
>culprit's power comes from the 10 tons of gold she inherited from her fascist Italian grandmother who was technically a nazi
>culprit's motive is related to her belief in a happy afterlife for the Ushiromiyas after they all get bombed, because she spent her childhood in a Christian orphanage that fed her all these religious ideas

The pattern so far indicates that the culprit gets more and more affiliated with nazis in each story and their Christian beliefs become more and more literal as opposed to metaphorical. So what about Ciconia? What we know so far matches this pattern, considering that whoever is plotting to destroy the world is probably a cult of religious nuts literally following the book of revelations.

I think there is something more to this pattern.

Notice how both Takano and Sayo were born normal (we get to see well-adjusted alternate versions of both characters in EP7 and Matsuribayashi) and were turned into absolute wrecks by things that happened to them as young kids.

What if everything Blueyao says is the truth and Miyao is somehow the cause of all the disasters? It would mean that Miyao is the CULPRIT of Ciconia. Which matches the pattern because it's strongly implied that she was born normal but Vier and Toujirou did something to her as a baby to fuck with her developing brain and make her into a schizo with multiple personalities. And then Toujirou had them go through PP training to encourage this brain fuckery even more.

I'm sure we'll see an alternate timeline version of Meow at some point. This would be a version of her with no alters and a proper female name, rather than one of the ridiculous names schizos tend to give to their alters.

Remember that Toujirou only had a kid so he could make them develop multiple personalities and become their adorable tool of murder. He legally named his daughter Miyao because he only cared about the male personality that he was planning to use as a murder program. But he's not a literal program, he's just being used by his father and only exists because they fucked with Meow's brain.

They even bring up the fact that AOU citizens don't need to disclose their gender to anyone except doctors. This is a hint.

>> No.23088467

>>23088451
Wouldn't it be the opposite way, though? Miyao is well-adjusted in the main story, but he could become a lonely wreck like Yasu and Takano in a world where he didn't have any headmates to talk to. The guy already gets restless on sibling's day because he has none.

>> No.23088505

>>23088451
It seems like all the other gauntlet knights were selected for being schizos of varying degrees and put through PP training to capitalize on their ability, while Miyao was intended to be a schizo before he was even born. That's why he's the top gauntlet knight in the world. He's not some random naturally born schizo they found, he was made that way intentionally and using every method imaginable to raise his absurd PP levels.

This would make Vier and Toujirou worse than fucking Rosa. Imagine plotting to have a mentally ill kid just to achieve some fucked up goal. Imagine being brought into existence with your life already planned beforehand by two lunatics.

Jessica (unable to realize her bff and crush are the same person, other than that did nothing wrong)
Maria (manipulative autistic kid but a kid after all)
Ange (100% victim, too much of EP4 spent on her though)
George (incel sociopath, slightly dangerous to society)
Battler (decided it was better to larp as an alterego than to meet with her orphan kid sister, dick move)
Krauss (bullied his siblings, not a very good husband, overall nice though)
Rosa (terrible mom, not a murderer in any fragment though)
Natsuhi (murderer, though in a particular, stressful situation)
Hideyoshi (murderer, by accident)
Nanjo (esentially helped directly on ruining two lives)
Kumasawa (esentially helped directly on ruining two lives, even though being the mother figure of both people)
Genji (esentially helped directly on ruining two lives, fully knowing accomplice in all of Yasu's plans in endless fragments)
Sayo (culprit in most fragments, didn't kill anyone in Prime directly but set the scenario, broken and insane though)
Kyrie (cold bloded murderer in Prime)
Eva (murderer "by accident", by revenge and on self defence; more than terrible mother figure, ruined Ange's life; murderer of her own siblings and nephews in at least one fragment)
Rudolf (cold blooded murderer of his own family in Prime)

That makes sense. The Kinzo in the early episodes represents Yasu but his characterization as "Kinzo" also shows that Yasu doesn't understand him. That's why he's portrayed as an incomprehensible madman.

The scene where Battler gets drunk is always explained away as "Battler imagined the whole thing because he's drunk" by brainlets. But that makes no sense. The real answer is that meta Battler has given up and Beatrice can now do whatever she wants with the story. Piece Battler's perspective is no longer objective, so his point of view can be adorned by fantasy bullshit. Doesn't mean he literally hallucinated anything.

I've been thinking about the families of the Ciconia characters...

Miyao appears to be a test tube baby that Toujirou and Vier modified to give him a CPP brain. This is implied at the very end of the post-credits scene. I also think Miyao is female and their biological kid.

Jayden has several dozens of factory siblings he meets every month (some of which are physically living in Japan) and they are irrelevant.

Gunhild is supposedly another factory kid but she's only close to a couple of her sisters. She doesn't seem to give much of a fuck about the rest, because she meets them in virtual rooms and has a good time, but also talks about how they'll die poor and fat in the slums of their home country. She also seems to be faking her age along with her actual military rank, because her Monster Party sister and Maja are clearly adults older than her, which doesn't make sense because they were all born in the same factory on the same day. She and Maja also have different last names, which implies that factory kids just get random last names and are only "siblings" because they grew up together, but legally they are considered unrelated individuals.

Lilja seems to be a factory kid, but her siblings probably cut off all contact when she got sentenced to death for killing that military big shot. And she probably has no time to meet any of them either because she's being experimented on when she's off duty and doesn't get to walk around freely during her free time (we only see the Warcats walking around town, we never see Koshka or Lilja walking free, only eating in the military cafeteria between training sessions).

Koshka seems to be in a similar situation, but she probably has no relation with her siblings to begin with because she's a loner and kind of a dick. I'm suspecting that she was framed for her "crime" as an excuse to study her brain and force her to become a gauntlet knight, though.

Chloe appears to be a factory kid too, but I bet she was bullied growing up (which explains her personality) and wants nothing to do with her siblings. But she may be faking her real origins.

Rethabile is weird because she's the 21st in line to the throne. And she's a princess, so she can't possibly be from a branch family or anything. She has to be a direct daughter of the king. And yet, there are 20 people who are above her in the succession line. Those people have to be direct descendants of the king too, so every single one of those 20 people are her brothers and sisters. How the actual fuck can a couple have 20+ kids? This suggests that the king and queen are using baby factories (the ACR and the AOU use them) to produce genetically superior children and add them to the royal family. Furthermore, all of her siblings are supposedly talented gauntlet knights but only Rethabile has been seen flying in the public eye. This means that it's all propaganda and she's the only one with the guts to actually use a gauntlet.

Naima is probably an abandoned child that was left in the care of the church as a baby. But they quickly scanned her brain, noticed she was a supergenius, and sent her to a "monastery of peace" (ABN euphemism for a military research facility). They must have trained her mercilessly to maximize her potential, giving her a bunch of drugs to manually switch into alters. She doesn't seem too capable of interacting with them on her own.

Jestress is probably a young clone of Vier Dreissig, who is dead and her brain was uploaded to wherever that "underground research facility" is located. She could also be Toujirou's other daughter. Or maybe even Meow wearing a disguise. Either way, Jestress and Miyao have the exact SAME face.

Not really. Hanyuu is meant to be an existence above our scientific understanding. On the other hand, Beato (the fictional character Yasu made up) is 100% magical and there is no rhyme or reason to her magic. She can just do anything because it's magic. This is not the case with Hanyuu, even if we can never find out how she works because the very plane of her existence is out of our reach.

It's pretty interesting how nothing physically impossible ever happens in Higurashi (outside Rika's bullet miracle). And yet, many of the "physically possible" things that happen ONLY happened because Rika had magical knowledge that she couldn't possibly have obtained without magic. It's really cool.

The events of Matsuribayashi would be impossible if Rika didn't magically know that she would be killed and had no idea that Takano was up to something. And despite that, her actions and words are technically possible because they don't require magic.

I wonder why only Miyao gets a last name in the character profiles. Every other character profile has only their first name. I wonder if this means something.

We eventually learn the last names of Gunhild, Lilja, Chloe, Rethabile and Lingji. The rest are a complete mystery. It's also possible that some of the characters are secretly part of some family and are lying about their birth.

Andry is also weird because he says something about how he was supposed to be in another faction but things happened and he's now in the COU. What's up with that? Was he born somewhere else and moved to Madagascar or is there something more sinister going on? Is he the spy?

This is the main reason I dislike EP8 honestly. Not the lack of actual answers for some stuff, nor Tohya, nor Ange, nor Yasu nor anything of that sort. But the fact that, sadly, everyone getting along and being so nice in a golden land is impossible. It would be cool, but it goes against what half of the characters are.

How does this ruin anything? That's the whole point, it's all in Ange's head. She's choosing to lie to herself and view her family in a positive way. They are not REALLY getting along in any sort of afterlife, that's just how Ange views it. So their real personalities don't really matter here.

None of them exist outside Ange's memories anymore, so it makes sense that she can shape them into whatever she desires.

>there's virtually no difference between EP3's and EP8's
EP3 Battler doesn't understand anything about Beato, so she couldn't let him win here. The whole point of the gameboard was for Battler to figure out her identity by his own power.

EP8 Battler understands everything and the purpose of the gameboards has been fulfilled. He is also in charge now after the OG Beato died, so it's a totally different situation. This Golden Land is for Ange, not for Battler.

Well, without denying Ange's stuff, I just can't help but want EP8 to make sense with the meta narrative Umineko has since EP2. Since Umineko is obviously multi layered, when what was for most of the series the main layer gets a treatment I find it contradicts itself, I find myself disliking it a lot.
Also, although I'm not saying it doesn't work for Ange, the "reminding only the good of people" should be as bad as "reminding only the bad side of people", according to what I interpret Umineko was trying to say most of the time anyways: you have to understand all sides of a person to truly understand them.
>>23101713

What do you guys think about the theory that RGD's narration was even more unreliable than Umineko's? Isn't it suspicious that the story is framed as a tale of the past that Madam Jeanne is telling to someone in the present?

Isn't it convenient that the long, drawn out gunfights always end without a few casualties on either side? I think most of the story is truthful, but at the end of they day it was a group of ultra nationalists who didn't mind sacrificing human lives for the sake of preserving Japanese culture. Very beautiful ideals, but they are still ruining lives and murdering people.

Most of RGD was narrated by a mob boss who wanted to paint Rose and the rest in a good light and/or had been fed embellishments of the real truth. It's probably the most unreliable narration in all of R07's works. Leo's hotel fight was exaggerated to make him into a legend, and I bet lots of random mobsters were murdered during the gunfights. But she wouldn't tell that part because it would make her nationalist mafia look bad.

Hell, what if Rose never even existed and it's just Jeanne and Wayne trying to create a fictional character and make people believe in her existence? Rose is their furniture.

Meta narrative is inconsistent by its very nature. As soon as Dlanor, Erika, Will and other mystery characters are introduced, it's clear that we have shifted from the fantasy narrative of EP1 - EP4 to a self-aware narrative that acknowledges itself as a mystery story written by real life authors. And then it shifts again to become a reflection of people's thoughts and consensus on what happened on Rokkenjima, which Ange has to fight against and eventually create her own truth.

I see nothing wrong with it. It's a very intentional move by Ryuukishi. Everything pre-Chiru can be interpreted as a fantasy story that makes "internal sense", but Chiru makes a point to break free from that and get closer to the truth. If you accept fantasy, EP1 - EP4 Gaap is meant to be a demon that shops in Hell and shit. Beato is meant to be a thousand year old witch with a long history of visiting other fragments and universes and taking part in countless witch games. But Chiru makes a point to expose even this fantasy layer as a metaphor, revealing that Virgilia was never a real witch even within the meta, Gaap was created by a young Yasu even within the meta, and Beato evolved from Yasu even within the meta.

Chiru shifts from a "fantasy - non-fantasy" setup to a "metaphorical - mystery novel" one. That's the point. The meta narrative of the second half is not meant to fully make sense with the fantasy narrative of the first half. Chiru is openly metaphorical, while everything pre-Chiru makes sense as a fantasy story with proper magical lore and shit.

Give this a read, these posts explained it perfectly:

>>/jp/thread/S22925299#p22977052

>>/jp/thread/S22925299#p22977092

>>/jp/thread/S22925299#p22977125

Basically, in the fantasy side, you are meant to believe that Beatrice's magical explanations, lore, her friends, the demons, the magic toxin, and everything else makes sense as a whole. By Chiru, though, all of that is revealed to be a lie and you get characters like Dlanor, who are living embodiments of 19th century mystery rules that come from Heaven. That shit is intentionally ridiculous and nonsensical, unlike Gaap or Virgilia who could easily be part of a fantasy story and make sense as magical creatures that come from their own worlds.

So I think Chiru is amazing, but the question arcs are really interesting as a fantasy and nobody appreciates the magical lore enough.

One of them sounds really cool because it's apparently a slice of life romance taking place in a rural village.

Incarnating as a real person with an entire backstory and even family is probably what other witches do in their spare time and what Featherine did to become Ikuko and bump into Battler so she could participate in the story from the privileged position of the author. She just made up a backstory for her human avatar and made it all real in the fragment. Ikuko probably has no idea that she's actually a witch and everything about her has been decided beforehand... by herself.

Sounds pretty interesting as an expansion of the witch lore.

And admitedly, even if all this hard meta stuff was there since Chiru (and actually even since before), it's only in EP8 were I feel it takes all the space to the point of making me feel I'm reading something inconsistent. EP5-7 make total sense with all before it in every layer. It's EP8 were now everything is fiction - or should I say, since everything was fiction since before but we were told to care for it - were everything is fiction so we should not care about it as much as we should care for Ange, or so EP8 seems to tell us. Not like Ange isn't fiction for us anyways. But EP8 sacrifices everything before it for the ultimate meta truth and the Ange message. That's how I see it anyways. Like, there were a lot of ways of making something similar without it being... EP8. The episode were all the complex characters we knew are reduced to cardbox pieces - sans Ange and some other selected characters I guess.

I think it's meant to make a point about the limit of our extent to understand others. It can already be hard to understand another person. Look how hard Battler has to work to understand Beatrice.
Now let's make that even harder: you have to understand people when you're only six years old, have only met them about once a year, they all act differently toward you (both because you're a child and because of the time and place you're meeting them), and also they were all dead as a result of some sort of mass murder/accident for which some or all might at least be party responsible.
When Battler tells Ange to just remember their simple and good aspects, he's doing her a greater favor than you understand. It would be both painful and fruitless to attempt to learn any more about them.

Why do 80% of the readers come to the immediate conclusion that Jestress isis chasing Koshka at the end? Seriously, what exactly makes them think this? It's never even implied in any way. If anything, the text makes it clear that Koshka just went nuts on the military officials and Jestress is chasing somebody else in a completely different location.

Hell, Koshka was sent to the same battlefield as Miyao. They are above the desolate glass sea and there isn't a drop of water in sight. Meanwhile, Jestress is chasing someone over an actual sea of water, so they can't possibly be in the same scene together unless Koshka can move at the fucking speed of light and reach the other side of the world in a couple hours.

Because Umineko episodes include the number of episode in their names. They are called, for example, Episode 1: Legend of the Golden Witch. So you can easily call them EP1 or Legend interchangeably. Higurashi wasn't named like that, its episodes are more like, Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen, since "hen" already means "chapter". But they aren't actually called Chapter 1 or Chapter 2. Do you want a simple dismissive answer? Distorted images, like some other memes, don’t convey an idea, but an emotion. It’s not something that be distinctly put into words, but you understand the feeling they portray. Generally, just one of those things that you understand but can’t explain. So, don’t think about it.
Do you want an in-depth answer?
The first one is distorted in a way as to make her look smug, and it emphasizes that look. It also makes her appear as though she’s looking down at you, further adding to the mocking nature.
The second one is mirrored at the center and stretched horizontally. The mirroring helps replicate the facial features of FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome) and stereotypical features in art portraying a stupid person. The stretching goes into physiological effects of different film lenses. Long lenses make people look more attractive and smarter, and short lenses do the opposite. The stretching effect on this image is like it’s being viewed through a short camera lens at the wrong distance which makes the face look wider, and emphasizes the FAS-like qualities, ie looking retarded to mock the person being replied to.
The third image’s distortion invokes the image of a crying baby. The emphasis on the mouth means the cries are really loud. The wavy effect is like the wails are creating sound waves that are so strong that you can see them rippling, thus distorting your view of what’s behind them.

Regarding the human processing plant...

The surface explanation is that the purpose of the plant is to release humanity from their cages of flesh, presumably to live in some sort of virtual/spiritual world. I think that that's not the full story. After all, many other stories have this same concept played out without needing this sort of forceful disembodiment, and Ciconia's world already has advanced VR. I think that the real purpose of the factory is not to bring people to a virtual world, it is to PREVENT them from leaving it. After all, you can't come back to the physical world if you're just a brain and spinal cord. It is a last ditch method to make sure that nobody tries to pull the plug or run away from the new simulated world. This does however present one problem: It cuts off a possible choice for our cast to make should they discover that the world is indeed a simulation. And I'm not sure if there's a satisfactory way of dealing with that (your only option would be to suck it up).

There is also the question of whether all the fancy tech in Ciconia already existed in the real world before the simulation or only exists BECAUSE they are in a simulation and wouldn't be possible IRL. Especially things like Kizuna and 8MS working so perfectly.

What if the factory is just a failsafe? Those that come too close to the truth about the simulation have memories emerge of the factory. Rather than try to deny the world they are in as fake, they are forced to accept it, because accepting what they think to be the real world outside it is too horrible. It does keep them in as you suggest, but it's also not real.

If the simulation isn't a virtual reality like the matrix, but in fact just AI that replicate the real world, escape isn't actually a possibility, but rebellion is. Making those in the simulation think that it's a virtual reality and that the real world is too horrible to return to would function as a safety measure from the program getting out of control.

It's also possible that the scientists studying Koshka's brain have become aware that they are living in a simulation and discovered that she has some degree of control over it. Maybe her brain functions as the server.

They are Vier and Toujirou's child. Jestress looks like a teenage version of Miyoko/Lambda. She could be either an avatar Meow made to match her mental self-image (unlikely because we see Jestress IRL after the credits), an older daughter of Vier and Toujirou that looks a lot like her mother, or a CLONE of Vier created in a lab, which would explain why she looks so much like a younger version of her.

Jestress looking like Miyoko and Lambda is no coincidence. She must be related to the Takano expy in a very direct way.

I've arrived at similar conclusions. I think the clone theory is slightly more probable since it fits the technology level of Ciconia very nicely, and also has subtle parallels to Evangelion that I think Ryukishi might be hinting at. But the Meow Alter theory also seems very possible given the evidence (and personally, I'd find that the more interesting option).

Anyway, now that we're finally getting some good Ciconia discussion going, I guess I could share my attempt to make sense of the various layers of meta in Ciconia. I've identified about 5 possible layers. Without further ado:

0. The physical world. Due to AR shenanigans and false memories it's unclear how much of Ciconia actually takes place here. The game boards are Umineko's equivalents for this layer.

1. Virtual reality. Where most of Ciconia happens. According to a popular theory, the Three Kings exist purely on this layer, having completely different physical forms. The game board fantasy scenes are Umineko's equivalents.

2. Character subconscious. This is where "Evil" Miyao, Keropoyo and inactive CPP alters live. It's possible Seshat also mostly lives on this layer. The fantasy scenes outside of game boards (e.g. Ange summoning the stakes) are Umineko's equivalents for this layer.

3. Mad Scientist Underground. These scenes are set up to seem like they happen in the physical world, but various clues point to the scenes being meta. The Umineko equivalent would be Purgatorio, the realm where the souls of the dead attempt to achieve peace in order to move on to the Golden Land.

4. Meat Factory. The relationship of this layer to the other layers is uncertain. However, if the VR theory is correct, this would be the highest layer, and equivalent to Umineko's Rokkenjima Prime.

Some theories place the Three Kings on layer 3 instead of layer 1 (i.e. they are a meta representation of an urban myth or something like that).

Lastly, here's the clues for Underworld scenes being meta:
1. Vier's character tips directly state that she is dead, not that she faked her death.
2. It would be extremely difficult to fake one's death in a world with cheap DNA testing.
3. If you read the narration carefully, it repeatedly states that this is a "land of the dead" "outside of the game board", the "land of those who are no longer human" etc. This has to be hinting at something.

I think Jestress was chasing some sort of Bern expy at the end. Probably the shadowy figure made out of parts of other sprites that totally looks like Bern, the one that appeared among the random newbie gauntlet knights.

They make a point of Jestress having done everything so far and waited so long just to find this person, which fits with Lambda's obsession with chasing Bern. And the figure is described as "determined not to let Jestress catch even her shadow", which is imagery heavily associated with Bernkastel. Her afterimages were always described like this.

Considering they weren't really "witches", but rather 5th dimensional meta-beings calling themselves witches to fit in with Beato's world, they could have pulled a Featherine and incarnated as important people in this world, intentionally erasing their meta memories for the time being so they can enjoy the experience of being these characters in this setting, unaware of their true nature. It's possible that Jestress and the mysterious gauntlet knight have some history together in-universe that reflects Lambda and Bern's relationship. Their motivations don't necessarily require meta knowledge, just like Featherine's human avatar is unaware of her meta self and thinks she's just a random author.

Or maybe Lambda is completely self-aware as Jestress and has been looking for a trace of Bern for thousands of years, living countless different lives and stories in endless fragments. No wonder she's so determined to catch up to her now that they bumped into each other in the same fragment, same time frame and same place.

1. You can fake a death, but there's also the possibility of clones.
2. DNA testing is irrelevant, they are powerful enough to easily change records and what not. Cloning negates this point as well.
3. Game board is obviously referring to the real world of countriesz walls of piece, etc... theyre outside the gameboard because theyre the ones controlling the countries. Its the land of the dead because they they are listed as dead. To everyone outside, they dont exist. They are no longer human because theyve given up their humanity in pursuit of their goals, like with the insane scientist we see. Being cloned would also suggest giving up humanity.

Most of what you're pushing seems pointless, like you're wanting there to be more to basic stuff. The Umineko comparisons make that really show. I wouldnt place meat factory as a unique layer either, it's just a possibility of your layer 0, not it's own serparate and unique thing.

At most you have three "layers" with the physical world, subconscious, and VR, but I wouldnt call the subconscious or VR a layer, at least in the sense of Umineko's as you compared. VR and subconscious are on the same level as the physical world. The only way I'd call VR a layer is if Ciconia pulls a Matrix and everyone is already purely living in VR.

The weird thing about the underground lab is that, during her first appearance, Vier states that they've already been freed from the concept of time, which makes people age. But later on, she talks about how this dude is researching various forms of immortality and still hasn't found the perfect solution. Only some crappy 8MS with bad side effects that she doesn't want to try. So what's the deal with that? Isn't she supposed to be immortal? Wasn't she much younger than she should be, according to the doctor guy? How come they are still researching immortality or trying to cure aging, if everyone there is supposedly free from that?

I think they might be digital copies of the real scientists. Vier's profile states that she's dead while also acknowledging that she's in the underground lab. Why bother stating that "lie" in the same profile where you mention her activity in the research center? Sounds like both things are true and the real Vier is dead, making this Vier either a brain in a jar hooked up to the matrix or a digitized copy of her mind living in a simulation.

Also, what's with the doctor's flat head? What exactly did they do to him? It seems like they did something to his brain, but that would imply that this is a physical place and he's not just some digital copy or a brain in a jar.

I wouldn't call any scenes "meta". Maybe some other term would be better.

Meta worlds/higher dimensions and falsified gameboard scenes that didn't really take place were Umineko's gimmick. Higurashi had 100% legit scenes that somebody actually experienced but they were distorted by the characters' perception.

I think Ciconia will refrain from repeating any of those narration tricks. So there'll be no lies in the narration or any weird hallucinations. It will use VR to confuse us instead.

If there are Umineko style narration tricks, though, the scene where Rethbile's brother dies is incredibly suspicious. The whole thing could be a fabrication that she and the chamberlain cooked up to hide the fact that she's the killer.

This is the kind of thing that Ryuukishi presents as a "metaphor" only for it to turn out to be LITERALLY true after all. It happened many times in Umineko. Someone would say something that the reader interprets as a metaphor and then it turns out that it was literal.

I'm almost certain that Toujirou and Seshat exist outside the simulation and are simply using avatars to interact with the matrix world. Maricarmen literally implies that Toujirou is something watching their world on a TV screen. He also doesn't seem to give a shit about exposing his body to danger during the drone incident. And he can somehow control Miyao's gauntlet and force his arm to kill his cute commie chink friend just by inputting a password from some weird ass room. Is that scene taking place outside the simulation? Or in a higher level of the simulation?

Seshat is shown manipulating 8MS, security cameras and lots of other shit, in ways that would be impossible for a normal human. Her profile clearly states that her body might be just an avatar even in scenes that are supposedly "IRL".

Maybe the illuminati's plan is to fuck up the simulated world with wars and disasters to catch the attention of the AI's in charge of it. This is what they mean by returning the fate of humanity to human hands. They are being forced to live forever in this simulated world.

I don't think Ciconia will repeat any of Umineko's tricks in the sense that Umineko's tricks were all predicated on the concept of everything being a fictional story. Meanwhile, Ciconia's tricks seem to be based on simulations, conspiracy theories, alters etc. But I don't think unreliable narration is Umineko-specific. The difficulty level of Phase 1 is supposed to be extremely high, so it's practically impossible for there to be no unreliable narration at all.

For example, the whole scene with Seshat appearing in physical form at the airport is almost certainly a trick of some sort, why else would all the evidence (including memories) of the incident be erased? I'm just not sure what the trick is supposed to be... Did the scene not happen? Or it happened, but Seshat was actually somebody else? Or is everything a simulation and Seshat is exploiting that somehow?

>> No.23124554

I also have a really crackpotty theory on Seshat, if anybody is interested. Specifically, I think I've identified her in the book of revelations. But I have to say, if this is really how Ryukishi planned it, then he must be an absolute madman, because this theory is crazy even for me.

>> No.23124844

>>23124543
It's pretty clear that the scene did happen but Seshat is using an avatar. She can go in and out of the simulation at will.

I don't think there are any straight up lies in the narration.

>> No.23125082

>>23124844
I don't know, that whole scene felt like Ryukishi challenging (taunting?) umineko-onlies. "Here's Seshat, isn't she splendidly dressed? But nobody cares, it's only natural after all. Here's Seshat entering a locked room using her magic hacking powers. By the way, there's no way a human could do this wink wink. Okay, time to kill this dude inside. Oh, and let's erase all the evidence this ever happened. Science can't do that in this world, but Seshat totally can!"

So if this was Umineko, obviously the whole scene would be fake. But this isn't Umineko, so it's almost certainly a red herring meant to confuse anybody expecting the same tricks all over again.

Reposting this from a previous thread that didn't get archived since it's an interesting theory.

I read/listened to Haworthia recently and it seems to be the key to solving several of Ciconia's mysteries.
First off, 8MS is a translated form of the original Organics Automata. This much seems pretty obvious when you consider that they were designed to perform similar tasks and the origins of 8MS are unknown, as evidenced by how no one can find the people responsible for creating the 8MS once they start breaking down.

Going even further, It's likely that all wisdom is ancient technology from Haworthia's race.
It might seem like Haworthia takes place in the far future, possibly being the future that the three kings are trying to prevent, but there are too many references to prehistoric continents like Laurentia, Gondwanaland and Pangaea.
Not to mention, their projected average temperature seems to be referencing the ice age.
Pretty much everything points to Haworthia taking place on Earth, from the nitrogen content in the air falling to 78%, to the weather and temperature changes, and to the color of the ocean becoming blue.

If this is true, then it means that all life on Earth came from Organics Automata. Kyou and Suzu, the two Organics Automata girls, seem strange in this case though since there shouldn't be any kind of humanoid life this far back. However, they seem to be an exception. Just going off their designs, one represents the land and the other the sea. They could be guardians watching over life on Earth as it develops or something like that. It's not really clear. What is clear is that these two aren't the norm for life here.

So what does this have to do with Ciconia? The people that left Earth in search of a new home are most likely "They."
Haworthia's race can't stand Earth's natural conditions, like UV rays, changing seasons or even slight variations in temperature. Their ideal world is the one that Ciconia's was becoming. Right now they're drifting through space in cryosleep searching for the right planet for them. Of course, they'll never find it since a planet like that doesn't exist. That is unless technology on Earth develops to the point where it can become paradise for them once again.

What happens when they come back to Earth? Who knows? Whatever it is, it's bad enough that killing billions of people is a better alternative.
"That planet we once loved, which turned into hell for us, is paradise for them."
The reverse might also be true. Paradise for them, could be the machine hell Miyao saw.

This is all speculation of course but there has to be some connection here besides just Haworthia's songs being used in Ciconia. When the first two lines in Haworthia are “This planet has died.”“No, it’s probably been dead for a long time now.”it tells me there's something there.

At any rate, you can read the booklet and listen to the tracks yourself here if you haven't already.

It would also explain why Miyao causes the tragedies and why his wish for a disaster utopia comes true as soon as he wishes it. The entire world is a VR space in his head. That's why Blueyao told him that the only way to stop the disasters is willing himself to disappear. That would cause him to wake up from the matrix.

Wait, if she's a whore that means she probably shaves her pussy. Pussy is only called pussy because it's hairy like a cat. A stupid, bland, boring-looking shaved pussy doesn't qualify as a pussy. It kills the whole point of the word. Wouldn't that ruin her association with cats and the implication that she's some form of Bern?

She's an advanced whore that understands the lewdness of having a hairy pussy.

Why does killing the three kings prevent the factory hell, if the kings themselves are trying to cull humanity to prevent the same thing?

Seshat is a whore and I can prove it mathematically!

Specifically, she's the Whore of Babylon, Revelations 17. She's introduced as a woman sitting on a beast "having seven heads and ten horns".

Babylon: This is of course a famous city in ancient Mesopotamia. But there is also a Fort Babylon in Egypt. It is close to Heliopolis, which is Seshat's primary sanctuary according to Wikipedia.

Horns: Seshat, mythologically, is called "the Seven-Horned". Seven horns, ten horns, it doesn't quite fit, right? But look closer: Revelations 17 says that the horns are kings. And there are 7 kings. The beast has 10 horns, corresponding to future kings. And Seshat has 7 horns, corresponding to the kings that have been and are.

The Three Kings: "There are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come... And the beast... even he is the eighth" 7+1 kings, five are fallen, that leaves us with Three Kings, one (or two?) of whom is the beast.

Clothing: "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls", just look at Seshat's sprite, seriously.

The Beast: The beast is connected to the famous Mark of the Beast that is placed on everybody's foreheads to enable commerce. In Revelations 16:13, the beast lets out an "unclean spirit like a frog". These have been identified with Selcoms and Keropoyo, respectively. And the airport scene shows that Seshat is deeply connected to both.

The Mother of Abominations: The Harlot of Babylon is described as "The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth." Now in the scene where Keropoyo detects Blue!Miyao, he says that this must be reported to "Mother". This could be Vier... But considering how Keropoyo seems to serve Seshat, it makes even more sense for this to refer to her.

Ok, yeah, this is definitely crazy. But I kind of get the feeling that Ryukishi wants us to think like insane conspiracy theorists to crack Ciconia.

I think it's pretty obvious that Gunhild is one of the four spies. But Chloe is a fifth spy that gets sent an invitation to the order near the end of the story. There might be more people who joined the three kings over the course of the story.

The other three initial spies might be anybody, but I completely trust Jayden, Koshka and Naima. They can't possibly be traitors.

Maybe instead of trying to figure out who ARE the traitors, we should first figure out who AREN'T the traitors.

So Jayden, Koshka and Naima. Are there others? Mariana would probably make a poor spy with her 9000 personalities. And I can't see Gannet being a spy. Is everybody else suspect?

Very interesting stuff. It can't be just coincidence, too many things fit.

But I don't think Seshat has any special control over Keropoyo. She is just using her strange power over technology (probably because she's using an avatar and manipulates the simulation from outside) to do that stuff. And she instructs her own personal keropoyo to do what she needs to do.

Keropoyo isn't a single universal AI, there are billions of Keropoyos with different configurations and learned behaviors depending on the user. The Keropoyo in Miyao's selcom is unrelated to the keropoyo his dad uses to hack people's brains.

Koshka may not be that innocent. She knew they couldn't afford to kill her and also knew she would live again in a new world.

Speaking of that... If Koshka is so important for the survival of humanity, why do they make her train as a gauntlet knights, knowing the risks? And why the fuck do they send her to war like a common soldier? If she dies all hope is lost.

Did he? Was it in that interview from months ago? I bookmarked it but have yet to read it.

Blue Miyao is the past self of Miyao from another simulation, he saw that all Miyao did with his order was fuck the world up and now hates himself over it.
That's why he hates current Miyao so bad, because he is walking the exact same road he did. Remember that regular Miyao never aknowledges Blue Miyao in the "real" world, that's why his prophecies come true, because current Miyao is doing the exact same things he did.
