One of better runs was an alchemist who specialized in rods (thanks to being able to cast them from stamina) and throwing potions. Makes me wish there was an artifact throwing weapon that was just a vial of poison or acid or similar to complete the set, or just some way to give yourself the throw potion special ability like pumpkins get without wizard mode. The idea's largely been relegated to just being an ally young lady instead though. it's a shame that has its own problems too. They can throw potions all day, and while they can learn to cast rods from stamina, they sometimes just forget they even have rods in their inventory, and just stop using them despite having plenty of charges left.

I was a prideful, yet ordinary local lord now in search of atonement for a mission I failed to achieve. I'm playing a lich so I guess somethings gone wrong in the past. For some reason I decided to design my home like an onsen and invited every god to live there as well, which I think was not the best idea since I rarely get guests. You would think lulwy splashing about in a bath would rake in the customers, but what do I know. I mainly dick around Palmia, where my home, shop, museum, and fields are. Shena runs my restaurant, which serves everything you can imagine. Gotta love that ass. My party consists of Hana bright flame dragon named Hitomi who acts as the meat shield and for ripping heads off with her claws, Ayame the Exile for spamming spells and being a squishy nuisance and the M Girl Shiho who I'm currently training and helping getting more speed for now. I smack enemies with a staff and cast magic, but I also try to save stray cats and little sisters everytime I encounter them.

Always theorycrafting new characters and planning their progress while my best character was mage who just spammed magic dart and nothing else, no farming, just cargo eating and only doing dungeons + hunting quests.

Thinking about making a charactor and messing with some low end stuff for a bit. not serious play just someone to try new things. Maybe a golem wizard or something. I really need like 20 new races and about 50 new classes but no idea if mods exist that are stable for it.

Shift cores don't seem especially viable unless I'm missing some method of gaining huge amounts of gauge. It would be cool to play a magical girl character, but I just can't see a shift core ever coming into play before the target is dead. Am I just missing something about them?

Still in quite early game(1st december, farming all god rewards and training essential non combat skills), but how much would it be worth it to drop around 100 investments each into bakers in Palmia and Vernis so I can stock more on flour for when Im done leveling my cooking? Im not sure if quantity they sell increases or not to the point that makes it worh.

When will my shopkeeper start making more money than if I'd sold stuff manually? I can sell cure corruptions for almost 25k and she was selling them for about 11k. I have 66/54 charisma/negotiation and she has 87/47. Is it just because I haven't switched my shop type off of goods? I can't imagine it would make up the difference.
There was one instance where I dropped some junk living weapon that I could only sell for about 1500 and she sold it for 200k but such an instance has yet to happen again. But I also haven't tried another living weapon.

Is shop already maxed? I keep it on general and just dump as many items there till it gets to rank 1 then I switch it up to whatever I have most, usualy food since its so profitable with corpses and farming. Just place farms with fruits and veggies next to shop and you should feel them easly.

In elona+, do the "pet material gathering skills" on pets stack?
Say, if i give gardening to a pet, will it gather only herb materials or any kind of material once it kills something? If it's the latter, does it stack in terms of quantity if i also gave such pet Gene Engineering and all the other pet gathering skills?
Also do pets gain materials from any kill? Or just from similiar level kills? Or only after tot xp has been earned? Or is it just random chance per kill? And i guess only the pet dealing the killing blow will get them, right?

Sorry for the tons of questions, it'd be useful to know before i spend time searching for all the required skills.

Anyone experienced with elosnack or something? I just fucked up big time. I set my palace's display tile on the map (I went with 32, just to see how the numbering works) and it turns out I can't walk back onto that tile to get back into my house and change it. I just got done spending like 6 hours decorating it as a village with personalized houses for all my party members. And it's my first palace, and that's a lot of money at this point in the game for me. And I put a lot of work into making it look nice. Is there any way I can change it back to the default, or am I gonna have to cheat in some money and buy another palace and redo the whole fucking thing?

I made the same mistake but with a ranch once, didn't have the luxury of returning to it. What I did was use the console to enable freemove and then pick up the deed while standing on the tile, effectively removing it though.

Yeah, lower level enemies. Once you start clearing 300lvl dungeons you get certain bastards that utilize skills to hit you with 100% accuracy. They will never miss. Endgame is tanking hits.

In OOMSEST you can run sword and board, longswords have a riposte that deals damage. You still have to be able to deal damage normally though. Shields are also better there with the tiered shield bash feat.
I like hammer-and-board though. Everything I touch is dimmed. Worshipping Opatos for the miracles and tank stats is another bonus.

You only get a penalty from killing NPCs if you can talk to them. So that means all the beggars, all the nobles, all the kids, all the bards, you can kill them all for no penalty. The same with those in the Sister Mansion, same with everyone in Let's Party! quests. Yes, even the 'named' NPCs in the Let's Party! quest, like Sheena and Mia. In fact, I sometimes pick up the quest specifically to go around killing everyone, or specifically beggars in them early on to get the Beggar's Pendant.

To know the difference between whether you'll get a penalty for killing someone or not, if the game warns you as to whether you want to attack them or not, then you'll definitely get a penalty for it (by default, -2 karma for hurting them, then -2 more karma for finally killing them).

So, what's the deal with this? My bike does this regardless of what kind of gun I give him, and it charges up incredibly fast. He shits it out 4-5 times a nefia floor. When I'm riding him he only has like 105 speed or something so it's not just him shooting incredibly fast. The wiki doesn't have anything about it besides a visual bugfix and a guess at it being from a sniper rifle, but he's done it with a regular pistol and a laser pistol. I want to change the sprite for it because it is butt ugly and I could do a better job, but it doesn't match any of the animeXX.bmps in my graphic folder.

As someone pretty new to the game it really amazes me just how much content it has under the hood. I thought it'd be a dungeon crawler with some basic side stuff but its more the"side stuff" is the main and the dungeons feel like side stuff. Everyone plays game differently, farming your non combat skills and getting farms, ranches and all items ready will make progression and dungeon diving much smoother than just mindlessly fighting non stop.

Pet arena rank decays so slowly. Should I just send a lame horse in to die repeatedly and tank it? It's gotten to a point where my pets are having problems and I want the god heart.
I don't know who to use it on though. Golden Knight was my first pet I didn't just dump and is my strongest and most helpful with her ability to haul my shit around and she carried me through the game, but my Black Angel is the one who makes me breakfast and fancy coats and hogs all the sleep sharing. Elona put me in a love triangle.

How does one get the Wild Arms music pack to work with Elona+ 1.95? The usual extracting to user/music didn't seem to work.

It's been a long while since I last played, and the game just isn't quite the same without it.

Anyone have some more sound information on all the recent ranching changes? They've been made lower maintenance (unless you get fucked by someone getting sick) which is nice and there's some shit with livestock growth. I left my lame horses alone for a week and a halfish and tried to just grow them all with all the milk I had, but after getting two as big as they seemed to go it wasn't working on any others. Is there just a limit to how many times you can induce growth in a week? I'll take it since at least it means I'm not actually picking between all milk turning into burger cheese and all milk going to stock growth.
Harvesting livestock seems to be the name of the game now, much better than it was however many versions ago I last played. These +10 skins are selling for some big number. More importantly the meat makes some absurdly profitable steaks. I haven't played with removing parts yet. If it lets you skin your horses multiple times that's godlike.

Ranch feed increases weight, but milk increases size. Size is a new thing, npcs are now born 0 years old and tiny with small sprites. You gotta grow 'em up to do things like milking them (manually, they still generate milk) or make them breeders.

You can mostly ignore size except for those 2 things.

Yeah, I cant understand it either. Im not fan of it. Its easier to just fish normaly, since with super lure your training speed is shit and you run out of sp fast. Without it you can pretty much fish till you are sleepy and repeat forever

What's the deal with about 70% of the evolutions in this game? The vast majority of them are on shit I'd never use and the evolutions they get aren't going to change that. Adding 10-30 of a stat to some lame thing isn't commanding, even as a giant petfag that likes flavor. Like cubs turning into a cool giant robot, but all they gain is some negligible stats you could easily make up for elsewhere The worst is when it's just some stats on something that I would use, but sucks. You bet your ass I'd use a living armor if they brought a cool offensive option but it's just stats on a mediocre body. Multi-stage ones are good as are branching paths, but you look at stuff like the fox brother and why the hell would you ever go with nine tailed over fire? I could understand if it was just a regular heart, but a magic heart for a whopping 20 magic and 10 more life, in exchange for not having the ridiculously awesome megid flame from a simple another heart? I feel like any specialized heart should at least grant a bitflag or good special action.
I'm also pretty sure the things that really need evolutions are the random recruitables you can pick up. Mad Scientist evolving and getting greater potion throws and other desirable things, based Murder Knight getting something cool. Isca's supremely generic and could use a bitflag or to. Sometimes it's like Ano doesn't even play his game.

It can take hundreds of hours to spawn the lure naturally. Although I've not seen it in puppy cave that I remember, you probably can spawn it there. I'd recommend the void though, since higher dungeon levels ought to have a better time spawning it.

Eventually an adventurer will pick it up, and the informer in act 3 can list off all precious items adventurers have, such as lures, skeleton keys, etc. For easier finding.

Two main ways that spring to mind are raising magic vendors to shop rank 100+ so that they stock potions of potential. The other way is creating large picnic baskets using a pot of fusion. Otherwise, you can only really rely on your bed restoring your attributes a little every time you sleep.

Honestly more evolution routes should be like the little girl- both sides are serviceable and give that ally a more pronounced role. Personally I'd only say the others are worth a damn with the Custom AI, but with that much grind you'd be better finding an NPC that fills whatever niche you want. Life boosts only mean so much when most players will find hero cheese consistently. Ano needs to play on a fresh save.

Get your detection skill up on give your pets all kinds of material gathering skills. Gather materials/ressources and raise your alchemy skill to 45. Craft all the potion of potential, get yourself a blessed bottle of water and mix that shit up. Chug a blessed potion of potential if any attribute potential drops below superb.

The translation is what I miss way more than the AI, personally. While it was cool to make unbeatable godpets I feel like there's so few actual options anyway that they all end up the same. Turns out not even a little bit worth it. Invested up to 210 and the jackass has yet to stock a single miracle quality weapon over a month and a half. I expected better since blacksmiths stock miracle quality pretty reliably.

I'm a big fan of how I can remove my horses' bones or skin or eyes to mulch with cursed rotten zombie steaks and feed it back to them, so they can regenerate their removed parts for me to harvest again later. Livestock feed increase their weight, so they drop heavier corpses/eggs/etc.

Unfortunately, egg weight doesn't seem to do anything, whether at 0.0s or capped at 10s. So chickens are the best egg layers for the bonus rate. (tested in 1.94, a while back egg weight did matter, and tentacle worms or grand leeches were best, but you can fatten up chickens to max egg weight eventually, if you feed them enough.)
