But the problem is that you would need to know how much grammar to know before jumping in. I mean if you start reading in Japanese and you understand a page or two but then for three quarters of the book most of the grammar and understanding is noise you'll probably be going back to grammar dictionaries and textbooks again. Most materials won't be consistent with this kind of stuff and something that might seem like 80 percent being understandable and 10 percent not could jump to 40/60 or 15/85. I would be curious to try it but right now I don't see how one could consistently when the amount you would understand would be variable on every page

look up whatever pieces of the sentence arent coming together for you and try to get a rough idea of what its saying and move forward
you might have to look up the same thing again shortly after but eventually youll start to remember things and after that youll start to internalize them and not even think about what the grammar is doing

the filename has to be mpv.conf where .conf is the file extension, not mpv.conf with a hidden .txt extension
