There's so many officially released VN's that're handled much better, so I'm not going to bother wasting my time on some half-assed port of the japanese version rather than an actual release. It's a glorified fan-translation with a price tag attached to it which shows how little the publisher cared about the title.

Personally, I wouldn't go that far since it looks pretty damn old and it's been shown that the older the VN, the less likely they still have copies of the uncensored CGs. It's not the usual SP bullshit of super new and recent titles get a mosaic release because they couldn't be bothered at all.

At least SolPress' track record for newer titles is better in that department.

Sol Press' handling of both Choose Your Mistress and My Fair Princess was pretty bad. Both of them were announced last year as no mosaic titles with no word since, until 2 weeks before My Fair Princess was supposed to come out did they say that the only copy of the uncensored images was damaged and it and the other PeasSoft title would have mosaics after all. Then on release day a mysterious bug showed up so it was indefinitely delayed. Then they surprise announced a date at AWA within less than a week but Steam only with no word on when off Steam versions would be available. The final release has JP lines show up in the text multiple times, show up in the names multiple times and also has mismatched voice lines in a scene like Nanairo did for Sekai a month or so ago so all that extra time in the oven for something that hit QA back in April didn't help.
Choose Your Mistress had its release date come and go and all they did was update their site with no official word on a delay, and apparently someone asked on their discord and they said it had the same mysterious bug. But they had not ever given it a progress update since its date announcement at AX so who knows if it was even finished or that bug was even real. If you're giving out official dates at panels to make yourself look better you better also give out official delays when it comes to light that you're pulling those dates out of your ass.

Licensing rights/issues and more importantly, money. MangaGamer doesn't have the funds for console releases. Sekai Project can get away with it by putting all the risks on their consumers via kickstarter and even with that they have at least 4-5 console ports which they will never release.
As for Umineko and Higurashi, they are published by Entergram, a console/handheld only publisher. The Switch release is different from the steam version and Higurashi was even censored AFAIK.
As for Fata Morgana, Novectacle and MangaGamer wanted to bring over the console extra chapters to PC, but HuneX has some of the rights to it which complicates things.

There's no point in shaming a group that clearly doesn't give a fuck about their audience getting a quality product. Once they're done with chapter 13 there will be a "100% complete" translation of the main story, and every EOP will download and read it. except the first 7 chapters are still shit so bad that even the guy that wrote it doesn't defend his work. They have zero reason to not start over from chapter 1 right away. Going by discord screenshots I have seen they're actually still referring to his script. some member will post:
