Why did the anime intentionally turn the Rosa banquet scene into a fucking joke? Why did they change it so much?

In the original, Maria said goodbye to Rosa and a goat carried her away to boil her alive and turn her into a delicious roast loli. Rosa went fucking insane and begged Beatrice to spare Maria's life. It was disturbing to see her daughter heading towards certain death. But the anime made it so Maria was already a crazy rolling head laughing her non-existent ass off, just another pre-made sacrifice to torture Rosa and make her eat fucked up shit. It turns a disturbing scene into a total joke.

I mean, I like the anime, but more as a supernatural mystery than the complex story the VN is. It's still miles better than some of the other shit out, especially when you add Kai to the mix.

I don't think it was the director. I just don't think the show had the budget and support to afford making itself longer. There was a surprising amount of attention put into the actual details of the show, (i.e. cues for when hallucinations happen). I think I got most of the themes and solved the mystery after my second watch through.

They had the choice between plot and character and they chose plot, arguably for the best. Umineko failed because there was too much information and too little time to explore it. Was a double whammy.

It gives the story a bad ending that makes you feel awful, but at the same time you kinda enjoy the trainwreck because it's such an intense scene where you get to see a human being reduced to a worthless piece of meat. Lewd!

Imagine Maria and Mammon seeing all of that. Ange will never be able to have a conversation with them ever again, because she'll be really embarrassed. They witnessed her degradation, they heard her pathetic begging and screaming as one of the bullies forced pencils into her ass while another filmed everything with a 90s video camera.

I just had a strange dream about Umineko, it was about Battler and Kyrie and I was Battler in the dream. We were at a kind of warehouse probably belonging to Rudolf or one of his businesses associates, looking through a lot of paper sheets spread out all around the floor/area surrounding it. I don't remember exactly if we were tasked to do it or if it was because we absolutely had to find an A4 sized sheet with the one winged eagle crest on it, but we did this particularly tedious job in place of the guards who should have been doing it normally. As I was walking on the pathway surrounding the facilities, often switching between looking at my feet or through the fence I eventually bumped into her - I wasn't careful. We used that short accident to take a short break and berate Rudolf for being a fucking asshole. At some point, for some reason I muttered "Thank you, mommy" and it made Kyrie genuinely happy. She asked me twice "What did you just call me?" in a tone telling me that she was pleasantly surprised(imagine wide smile sprite), without an ounce of irony or second thoughts even if she didn't want to admit it. She hugged me and the real me (as in : Anon) couldn't help but think that Kyrie couldn't have been this happy considering the truth she didn't actually know and I was left with a strong bittersweet feeling. I woke up moments after.

She proclaimed herself to be a detective in red in EP6. It's a contradiction. It was discussed in several posts ago. Lambda hinted Knox 7th has an exception. She is fully aware of the Meta (speaking to Bern while eating, arriving the island in EP6)
Possibilities why she can be both:
1) the detective is a title/career, the detective authority only counts (see EP6)
2) there are 2 different Erikas (see argument "no 18th person exists in all games")
3) detectives are allowed to be (murdering) accomplices
4) Erika's detective authority was hindered by something (alcohol, drugs, got stolen)
5) the Erika-ball (an old theory where Erika get a viewpoint from a person and she is him/her in that scene)

A cool thing to see is how Umineko switched Knox's rules from a writing rule set to an inside rule set to deny witches. However Umineko isn't faithful to these rules.
For example EP5 cannot be solved in a normal way. Several hints were locked behind the "tea party", a normal reader cannot really solve it without "Natsuhi=culprit". That's why I mentioned Eva before. For example, after they ate DINNER the narration/Battler never showed Erika and Eva together. Later you got this red truth smashed in your face

But, most importantly, I can't get over how someone believing in this must also believe that Ryu07 is maliciously not only hiding the solution, but built a perfectly fitting fake one, discouraging readers from trying to go any further.
It feels like a theory made for the sake of arguing more than out of a genuine interest for an alternative solution, and the fact that every effort in spreading it has been at the hands of low-effort off-board shitposters only reinforces the idea that they don't give a fuck about truth or whatever, they just want to be right and/or ruin threads with this.
