Here is what I do and it's rather simple. I did it incorrectly a few times, but some anons helped me in the right path, so might as well sit he same and guide others.

1. Clean it's inside however you like with water , cold or warm idgaf as long as you get your liquids out. This is the easiest step.
2. I add some mild soap only to the inside of the hole (don't soap the outside), in my case water based and very mild to it with a spray and use my middle finger to spread it well around the whole inside. Use warm water before adding soap just for the washing dishes effect.
3. Rinse with water. Again temperature is not a big deal. Now it should be clean.
4.
