This is a chart of being an otaku of a thing, not the actual thing. Which is why "trains" is all the way at the top of the 'harmful' scale, because toritetsu are notorious for endangering themselves and others to take photos of trains

That's what I wonder myself. My guess being the prejudice stems from the strange visuals depicted by guitar players related to 弾いてみた videos, visual kei bands, and other western influences. Then there's also that connection to anime, audio, and perhaps idols.

If it's about my western influence comment, it would be bands that are on the same wavelength of visual kei and glam rock. Such as 80s rock bands and metal bands with that "dark" theme. Maybe you could include bands that play in an "odd" manner but I think that's above most people.

I think it's just because of guys who like to buy electric guitars because they think it will make it easier to pick up women. The electric guitar in particular attracts a lot of people who want it for the image it projects, not because of music, and these tend to not be good people
