I did genki 1 and 2 with vocab before diving massively into reading. Picked up core 2K two years ago so I could learn Japanese, thousands words in moved to mining. Dropped it because my life was an impressive nightmare. Two years on and it makes me happy to be able to still parse basic words and meanings from random sentences, despite believing I'd forgotten everything.

I live in Germany and it's a big issue. I think legal migration of skilled migrants that will be a net plus to our societies is a good thing. However all forms of illegal migration has to be eliminated and the hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants in Germany should be deported immediately. If you mean in terms of less lethal weapons like I don't know pepper spray or whatever, think those should be fully legal (pretty sure it's not right now).

I think it highly depends on what you are trying to achieve. For learning kanji it's a bad idea to have a complete sentece with audio. But if you dont give a fuck about kanji at all, it's way more efficient. I want to learn how a word sounds and in what context it is being used. Single words on front would be increadibly crippling. If you want kanji and understanding, probably a mix of both would be great.

if you can recognize and understand the word in a different anime, book, game etc 3 weeks later, then the card has done its job.
