I have an idea. There's this girl, right? She's lived her entire life locked in her parent's basement so that she can stay innocent; up until her 12th birthday the police raid the house. She can't remember the last time she saw another human and she can hardly speak, that's when she meets her love interest. The man that broke down the basement door with his foot and carried her out himself. Later on she finds out the guy is cheating on her and she is torn between reporting him to the police, which may not change anything with him being on the force and all, or leaving him for other men, women, and lolis. The twist is, you play as the girl and it will fully voiced.

Its the drawfag from before, and I was wondering what I should do in terms of making sure I keep in contact with the /jp/ers making the VN.

Have we decided what kind of structure we wanted?

Linear? Supernatural? School setting?

So let's get this straight; the VN can be divided into 3 'teams' of anon:

1) the storyboard one-man-army/team - responsible for the draft, how the story goes, any paths (if required). other anons can give in their input as well.

2) the music team - responsible for the music for the VN. probably could only start when a rough outline/theme for VN is available. could possibly compile an album when everything is done.

3) the drawfag team - should generally have ONE main artist to achieve consistency, aided by several other drawfags. this is just a vague requirement as if another drawfag could produce a similar output to the main artist, or if 2 fags can produce similar outputs, there could be 2 main artists. coloring, etc could be done by the whole team. probably could only start when a rough outline/theme for characters in the VN is available.

let's try this method: the way things are going, we could probably come up with an agreement on the story we should do in 1-2 days. then, we can either make 3 separate threads here to avoid spams/autosage/confusion as well as allow specialization. backup any necessary stuff to the wiki/forum as you see fit.

I have many concepts for the history and founding of the Lunar Capital, life on the moon in general, and quite a bit when it comes to the moon's armed forces.

Yukari's invasion wasn't really much of a protracted campaign, so it's not a good source of story. It was a hopeless rout of a battle that didn't even fully begin. The Lunarians didn't even meet them in combat.

As far as simple and cliché goes, we should focus on a simple, kinetic novel, with just a few interacting characters. I have doubts this is going to go anywhere, but it's a fun way to pass time.

World takes place in the underside of the Earth - You can look up to see the other countries. Everyone can look up at the sky in wonder, a sense of awe enveloping each child as they look up at the seemingly unreachable countries. A man dreams of reaching across the world to the other countries that he can see up in the sky. A girl, on the other hand, dreams of digging downwards into a new, unknown world that can't be seen. The girl makes a promise to accompany the guy if he promises to go with her to dig into a new world. He accepts. However, in the end, despite moving from area to area in search of the magicallity that the locations seemed to have, they find that every single place is woefully similar, travelers going from place to place, searching for those adventures that they longed to partake in. The man, his sense of adventure horribly unsatisfied, realizes that the only way to feed it is by reaching for the invisible, unreachable star that the girl was searching for.

I've liked my idea better, but it's for a personal project

Also, I'm no writefag and I don't really care but I think a good setting or whatever for a short and simple kinetic novel would be something like Pale Cocoon - minus the actual story part.

But if you've ever watched the OVA it's got a pretty cool little setting going on, and only two actual characters (others exist but arent involved really at all other than walking in the background a few times). But I dunno, I just thought it was a really good OVA or whatever the fuck it was, aside from the cheesy 'hurr be nice to earth' story it was pretty damn interesting even just the setting and feeling it had to it.

So something simple like that would make sense, and it can be made into something simple and interesting pretty easily depending on story.


On an unrelated note, I was looking forward to Index and then it was shit within two episodes ;_; so let down.

Let me see what I can do:
A family of 5 endured the life of poverty after their father died leaving the mother to care for the remaining 4 children. Story takes place 7 years after the father's death. The characters are the eldest daughter who believes everything will be alright as long as you work hard. Second is the son who has a cynical view of the world whose sarcastic behavior costs him countless jobs. The third is the youngest daughter who gets herself involved in questionable lines of work. The youngest son is still in high school and is possibly the only voice of reason among them.

I could probably come up with more but I'll keep it simple for now.

I'm trying to provide a centralized solution from which everything can be accessible, instead of having to visit a wiki, a forum, etc, separately.
