Virgin Matchless is currently only €20 and it really is a great hole for the price, but it is not durable. It does however feel amazing and is a steal for the price.
Other than that the R-20 (regular or puni size) is indestructible and will last you forever. Can turn them to clean them too, since the material is so durable. They are however the puni is sold out right now it seems, and they are double the price.

If you are a first time buyer you might want to order both a firmer and a soft hole. R-20 is made from firmer material. A rather soft budget hole to try both would be the Asagi one. For around €25. More durable than a VM, but won't last forever. The entrance is very small, but I still turn mine inside out for cleaning without any noticeable damage.

I own all of these and I can confidently say that all of those are good choices for a starter, and will not break your bank.

You will need lube too. Onatsuyu and Kyo lube are out, and I have no experience with the others, but Pepe lube seems popular and the price is in the same range.

My Bordeaux did not last long.
My first real ona buy were the Bordeaux and the R-20 but the R-20 felt too hard (it takes some time to get used to handling it), so I used the Bordeaux a lot in the beginning. The structure in the tunnel is not noticeable at all. It is however a nice and comfortable structure.
I'd call it "embracing" even though the tunnel and opening are kind of wide, so it does not create noticeable suction or pressure, it feels really gentle and nice. However the big downside is definitely the durability, like you have mentioned.

The inner layer will start to separate from the outer one at the entrance and then it will separate more towards the insides every use. Durability is not as bad as some anons describe it to be, but it is nowhere near as durable as other Onas. Virgin Matchless for example is also very easily teared, but it tears from the insides because the inner layer is very thin in some places. Therefore it breaks way faster than the Bordeaux. The inner layer separating is better than it straight up ripping.
However, the Bordeaux is also double the price. If you get double the mileage out of it really depends in how you take care of it.

I'd say that the pricing is alright, and that it is worth the money. However I would not buy a second Bordeaux myself because it is kind of low stim compared to other holes. I did buy a second VM though, just because it is very stimulating. But at the end of the day that really comes down to personal preference.
The 17 Bordeaux is definitely worth the pricetag for a beginner hole. It is just very "basic" or "vanilla".
