Patchouli has dissapeared from the SDM, and there's been no sign of her for over a week. While guarding the gate, Mei-Ling came across a sealed letter, addressed to the residents of the SDM, which read "if you ever want to see patchouli knowledge again, leave 100,000,000 yen with Yukari Yukumo. Ms. Knowledge will appear in the human village within three days after the funds have been received." Reisen has been brought onto the case, with her trusty .44 Danmaku pistol, the most powerful handgun in the world. She has already went to the Yakumo residence, and it appears that while Yukari is an accomplice, she was not directly involved in the crime. Both Ran and Chen have testified to Yukari having been staying at home for the entirety of the past two weeks, and have not seen or heard of any strangers coming or going recently, but while, at the least, Reisen trusts the word of Chen, Yukari's gap powers call this into question. Where's Reisen going to look or go next, and whodunnit?

If it was requested that the money be left with Yukari she's obviously behind it. Even if Yukari isn't the one directly responsible, you can charge her with aiding and abetting. There are enough people in the SDM upset about Patchouli's disappearance to beat Yukari into submission to give up information on the true culprit.

Saying that Patchouli would show up in the human village is suspicious though, but none of the non-protagonist humans would have the power to subdue her. Reimu has a motive since she's apparently poor. Marisa might just do it for fun.

Well, there's a lot of different suspects, motives, and potential culprits. How should Reisen go about investigating and questioning each suspect? It'd be best to act quickly, because of the possibility that the abductor could be a belligerent y/u/rifag (technically about every 2hu is, though).
