I'm something of a mix between Kasen and Luna. I'm mostly just book smart, but I lack knowledge of practical matters, and I'm lazy.
I can't control my eating, but I like moralising about stuff to people.

Yet people have said that I am a pretty supportive dude, and a guy who gives good advice to people. I'm also quite skeptical about stuff. So I guess those were the good things.

I've been compared to Kirisame quite a few times, to the point where it's become something of a nickname.

It stems from... apparently, the way I behave with others. That, my passing fascination with mycology and my attempts to hide my studies.
It's kinda embarassing, when you strive for months and months to do something and then fail. It stings less if others think you just *went* for it. y'know?
I admit I can be an obnoxious jerk, but sometimes being by myself with my work is an exercise in futility that leads to depression. So I need company.

So I'll get a friend to spend time with me, somehow. Even if it's pestering someone to play something with me. I guess I exude that same Marisa-ness when I'm with them, though.

I feel like I have a lot in common with Hina Kagiyama. I live a sort of reclusive lifestyle and keep to myself for the most part (although I do have a lover and I am a college student, so I'm not a virginal NEET or anything). Like how Hina protects humans from their misfortune and instructs them to stay away from the Youkai Mountain, I try my best to help others when I can by doing things like helping elderly people load their groceries in their cars at the store or volunteering at my county's food bank. When something is happening (like a discount day at a local take-out place or protests blocking the highway at places) I do my very best to give the people around me a heads-up about it if they don't know. However, I'm not a people person at all and I feel like spending too much time around other people really drains me and makes me feel their sadness. Hina is a good girl. I wish I could be as good as her.
