I've played Kamipro, Aigis and Otogi. This is the first time I drop a game due to its prospective grind alone. Not only exp gaining seems to be slow (unless I'm using the Tsubasas incorrectly, are they some kind of joke? 2k exp?), but LB requiring multiple high level sacrifices is way too much. I also got stuck in the story line after about one and a half day of playing. This didn't happen in any of the other games, I always had better stuff to do for the first month or so at least.
Granted I've heard of worse games grind-wise, but still.

I mean at least if they could block something, but apparently only one specific class can do that and after nearly 100 constructions and 4 10 rolls I don't have any of those, so I find you'd rather just use ranged units to bombard the fuck out of everything.

The only place she really suffers is skill uptime but other than that her and Hermits are getting buffed just about every single balance pass and her stats just keep climbing. Her defense is at a pretty ridiculous point now and her passive lets her deal out pretty good physical damage. She's an excellent gatekeeper unit that can also serve as an extremely good physical lightning rod and to a lesser extent magic too.

So I never did get the 500 free DMM points. Is that a non-gaijin function only, or what? Am I supposed to do something other than registering my card and buying some points?

That's just how it goes, though from what I've heard other people say the story maps are the best way to grind levels and not actually through using materials.
I've been playing since the start when there weren't even that many of those so I assume I got used to it. Now though I have enough stamina to grind a team to somewhere in the 30s from scratch, I think. Not exactly sure, but it definitely doesn't take much effort to level until the 50s.

Also, I haven't yet made a team of 4 melee and 4 ranged that doesn't perform decently, regardless of rarity. The main thing I look at is skills, specifically summons. Doesn't matter too much which, in general they're incredibly useful since they have top priority for enemy attacks and often give beneficial AOE effects outside of their stated effect in the skill description.
That's actually probably important. Enemies target all summons before castles, but beyond that they also target in inverse placement order. Don't know if it's the same in Aigis, I'm too busy losing in it to check.

Aside from that, make sure you have a bow for anti air and aren't stacking too many high-cost units (cost depends on weapon type) and it should be a workable team. The best teams have a lot more thought put into them obviously, but this should work for now.

Last thing, probably obvious but positioning is critical, and same with knowing when to reposition. I've won maps I didn't think I had a chance at by trying different positions.

Meant as two things, often give beneficial AOE effects, also give effects outside of skill description, though that's rarer. Mostly the Ki generators, also some of the summons of rarer units.

He scales up quite quickly; by level 10 he hits for a bit over 5k at high attack speed. That combined with how quickly he starts moving compared to other Majin, and the mess of other fairly strong enemies, makes it fairly difficult.

I only try to make it to lv5 for the black armors which do help strengthening the team for whenever they're reissued again.
Out of the ones I've tried so far I got to lv5 on Agares and Vepar, got stuck on lv4 Furfur and currently at lv3 Shuten.

Vepar was by far the easiest to make it to lv5 because Shino is a lovely token.

I found the oni generals to be the real bosses of that stage, level 5 wasn't that difficult because only a couple show up there. You really want to watch some replays and map out your safe spots for the fireball oni once he gets into the fray.

Still, shouting doggy is one of the better-designed majin. His swarm gimmick allows less appreciated classes like pegasus riders, valkyries, cannoneers and mage armors to shine, and the oni quartet do a good job of keeping up the pressure after Shuten's initial rush. Mage prince really eased up things too, that stage is timed just so that you can get off two rounds of his skill (one for the initial rush, one when the oni generals start to move) even without a rearguard.

A dog at lvl99 deals 900 dps without skill. With Moltenas skill active that doubles (or increases by 1.5x with SAW).
Emperor has about 1100 dps with his skill active.
They do count towards deployment and you can only field two at a time.

Some more things to consider if you're comparing these:
Dogs are much tougher than Emperor.
Assuming the dog isn't damaged by an enemy it will last 60 seconds, Emperors skill lasts for max 45 seconds.

I picked them for waifu material, as for how useful, Nataku is the more gimmicky, you can use her to tank something ranged that moves slow but you can't really use her to block something on the ground to abuse her high def because the skill doesn't last much, on the att department she does alright but again, she can't really take something heavy by herself, so think of her as a very tanky ninja. As for Alice, she's awesome, my main tank has been Nadia for a long time, Alice does the same but better with more hp and 2 blocks (sometimes a bad thing but never had that issue), turned her into a KoF and now that I'm usig kera prince, have always a rear strategist to reduce the skills CD wich in turn helps Alice to get those 3 hp stacks faster.

Ninjas attack faster, not even with pursuit proc she attacks at the same speed because she has longer att frames on her SAW (its the fireball motion what screws her att speed). As for true damage, yes she does it, but you can't rely on it because if pursuit is so rng that sometimes it feels that it's 20% instead of 50%.

Next Aigis maint is on the 21st so I guess event lasts until the 28th meaning this is the last full event of the year and the christmas event proper even thought the event unit sure as shit doesn't look christmas themed and only 1 event map had anything christmas related.

Uriel pre-fix is shit, and the fix will come quite late. And by shit I mean the worst SSR ever, her name became synonymous with "SSR in name only". It was kinda funny with people emailing the devs and asking if there was some mistake (her burst damage was even explicitly stated to be inferior to other SSRs for no apparent reason) but they replied saying everything was working as intended... Apparently they changed their minds after some months. After fix she's strong for longer battles due to her cumulative skill, however the next two Fire himes are Dakki and Mars which are some of the best utility SSRs Fire will get. I would consider rolling for Uriel only if I didn't have any decent damage dealer (Svarog or Ares). There's only one month separating Uriel from Dakki and Dakki from Mars so it's going to be tough if you're going Fire.

Having 35k power is doable but you need himes or heroes that can either tank or damage cut like Poseidon, Water Raphael or Raikou.
Using AW Gaia is the most viable option even with off-element as she can take those nasty gem attacks without a scratch.
Using Kushinada as sacrificial lamb is also nice.
Stacking a lot off ATK Down is also a good move since you will take like only 3x4k-ish from that rage burst.
If you wanna go full YOLO, you must time your attack and go full punish spam everything on rage mode.
When in doubt, use Jeanne
Some kaiser also helps.

It's not because they are all garbage, but it's very hard to grab people attention nowadays.
Most people who play these kind of games already have a couple of games they would play regularly, which eat up most of their free time.
When a new game gets released, it needs to be very impressive to grab people interest, otherwise, they will just play it for a few days, exhaust all the free rolls, drop it, then go back to play their favorite games.
That's why we keep seeing new games get released and then closed within months. They don't have the playerbase support like the older games.

Looks like FKG's official goods have been announced for the winter Comiket, with a bundled set of acrylic standing art, themed calendar, heat-sensitive mug (bit of a missed opportunity here, should've had Ionocidium transitioning into her "dozing off" pose when heated), notepad, tote bag and serial code for the promotional knight Veratrum. More interesting, however, are the individual items, which include a Cattleya body pillow (both sides are for the adult version, which ought to be a bummer to some), a Ume/Sakura tapestry by TAKTO himself, and a surprise character song/voice drama CD for Cattleya, Anemone and Cyclamen. Banana Ocean sure is taking this idol business seriously.

As usual, there's a fairly strong showing in fanworks too, with participation by many of the official artists: from what I can gather, Arikawa Satoru has another book and recently finished a body pillow on Wolfsbane, Sorimura Youji also illustrated an outright gorgeous tapestry on her, Bouryoku Nyachou has the fourth installation of his artbook series, Utsurogi Akira has a Coral Bush tapestry in addition to his previous books (and apparently illustrated the cover for a yuri voice drama, which can only ever be a good thing) and Sasayuki is again doing God's own work with Lunaria x Pitahaya (speaking of whom, I hope they keep commissioning him for gacha/event knights, it'd be a shame if the only girls we've gotten from him were Sinclairiana, Pingpong Mum and Miltonia).

Yeah, I'll have to agree with this. I haven't been on the Nutaku side for a good while, but from what I've seen, the distribution of rolls is pretty skewed. Clustering illusion and selective reporting are always possible in these cases, but there's good enough reason to at least think that there's something off with Nutaku's rates.

But how off they are and what exactly is off about them is anyone's guess, because they sure aren't telling. And in any case, the DMM side has such a positive and well-established reputation that switching to Nutaku was never a consideration for me, even with the comforts of English.

Halloween Daisy, Christmas Iberis, Christmas Begonia, and Yomena were all spotlight hits for me. I still got trolled by off-focus girls like Violet or Iris, but nowhere near the extent that I was trolled with Nutaku. For now, anyway.

Her second evolution is good, at least, and Lantana was great work as well. Still, drawing that much flat can't be good for a dyed-in-the-wool oneshota/oppai loli artist.

Tenma is currently an unimpressive DPS unit and her specialty is only relevant for a single majin (Kimaris), but she lacks an awakening so we don't know her full potential yet. Aix will be a staple on almost any team due to her healing and defense boost, her AW passive (extra range to healers) is also crucial in many situations. Diera is a premier ramp and Mireille is a premier tank, Fiore castrates Furfur by existing but isn't really strong by black standards otherwise, and Sybilla is passable at both dueling and ranged damage but really wants that princess 2AW to come.

I'd be more interested in the current roster of plats, to be honest. Totone is an amazing ramp, Blanche is amazing DPS, Melvina has a black-tier passive in the right team, Sandy can make herself useful from the benchline due to her passive boost and becomes a fine pick if you have 2-3 of her targets, and youkai classes (Kasumi, Inari and Konoha) tend to be a cut above the rest too.
