Let's take two example scenarios: one where the uploader provides a lossless copy, and one where he provides just an MP3 transcode.

Uploader provides only MP3. Leeches who are willing to accept this reduced quality see that it's available on dojin.co or other jew sites, and swallow their (already reduced) pride to get the files they want from there.

Uploader provides lossless. Leeches download lossless and either listen to it or convert to something else of their choosing. There's no need to go to an adfly dojin.co jew link or anywhere else to get the goods. They have the source and that's that.

Doesn't providing the original eliminate the need for anyone to visit these garbage sites? Genuine question, not trying to argue.

You get "score" and "notes" for any upload.
Notes are what is used to "pay" for other posts, so they're a limited resource, though realistically you shouldn't really run out once you start uploading stuff.

For uploads of albums released in the previous 3 months, you also get 2 extra points, called "love" and "contribution".

There's basically 2 uses for points besides notes:
1. They increase your "level", the higher your level, the more forum features you have access to. At a certain level you also get access to an extra section with more "exclusive" rips (in reality it's basically a dumping area for random CDs).
2. Posts can be restricted so only people with x amount of point y can download it, so depending on how many of the various points you have, you might not be able to download certain user's rips.
