Pretty far, assuming they'll cooperate but will still probably fail in the end regardless of teamwork chemistry.

Digressing a bit, assuming this will use the Spell Card Rules, my money would be on the Marisa/Reimu team. If that's unfair since they're both the MCs, I think the next best thing would be Tenshi/ISC-no items-Seija.

My favorite 2hu is Marisa but I don't really have a second favorite one. Just a bunch of contenders for "people I kind of like."

I think these two would hit it off nicely, but there's no way in hell they're getting very far, assuming Shinmyoumaru doesn't have access to the mallet. If she did, then they might be able to get somewhere if they're clever with how they use it.

Forgot to put my thoughts in the OP:

Eirin could give syringes full of drugs to Alice's dolls, or outfit them with tiny bows and teach Alice to shoot. They might be able to get past the preliminary rounds drugging their opponents this way.

I don't think they'd work too well together: Alice is a loner and Eirin is pretty insufferable.

I think Clownpiece and Tewi should be knocked down, maybe around Shinmyoumaru/Seija.

I'm pretty sure the Junko shenanigans wore off after LoLK (even then, I don't know how they affect non lunarians) and while her madness torch is something to be reckoned with, I don't see it being more powerful than Reisen's abilities. Tewi also doesn't really have any particular combat skills, although she does have her trickery and wits to rely on. They can get results if they play their cards right, but I wouldn't expect them to beat the normal tier characters.

Same thing is with Alice + Yukari setup, but this team can also kick your ass in seconds if you make a mistake.

Not a bad combination I must say. Mystia's spells would be pretty good for supporting, so it would enable Suwako that is already pretty strong by herself.

The reason why Alice+Yukari is topclass is because Alice is equally strong than Ran but she also has her own brain.
